Super Chat messages appear in YouTube Live Chat; a Hindi livestream does not need a separate Super Chat setting. The channel and stream must be eligible, live chat must be on, and you can view incoming paid messages in YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room. For a 24/7 stream, also plan how to handle YouTube’s automatic-archive limit: streams under 12 hours are automatically archived, but YouTube’s guidance does not promise automatic archiving for a single stream that runs longer.
How Super Chat appears during a Hindi livestream
Super Chat is a viewer purchase that highlights a message in live chat. Depending on the amount, a message may stay pinned at the top of the chat feed for a period. Super Stickers are animated images that appear in the same live-chat context. Hindi does not call for a different chat display or a separate Super Chat switch; eligibility, monetization settings, and live chat are the relevant controls. To see messages while the stream is running, open the active stream in YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room and monitor its live chat feed. Viewers should watch on the YouTube watch page if chat interaction matters: YouTube says live chat is available on watch pages, not embedded players. Learn about live streams.
Check channel and Super Chat eligibility
- Enable livestreaming and check restrictions. YouTube says a channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days to livestream. Streamers must be at least 16 years old. Check Get started with live streaming for the current access requirements.
- Review monetization controls. In YouTube Studio, open the Earn area and check whether the channel is eligible for fan-funding features. YouTube requires creators to accept the Commerce Product Module and enable individual features where eligible. See Choose how you want to monetize.
- Confirm that live chat is on. Super Chats and Super Stickers are available on eligible live streams and Premieres when live chat is enabled. Availability is subject to YouTube’s channel and stream eligibility rules; simply broadcasting in Hindi does not establish eligibility.
Set up the stream and monitor incoming messages
- Create or open an encoder stream. In YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room, create a stream or select the one you intend to use. YouTube supports software encoders and professional-grade hardware encoders; dedicated hardware is an option, not a requirement for Super Chat. - Connect the encoder securely. Copy the YouTube server URL and stream key into the corresponding encoder fields. Treat the key as private: it gives the encoder access to the stream. YouTube explains stream-key settings in Manage live stream settings.
- Check the preview before going live. Confirm that the video and audio reach the Live Control Room preview and that the stream is accessible on the channel’s YouTube watch page. Test from a phone as well as the device you use to manage the broadcast.
- Open and watch the active chat feed. Once the stream is live, use the Live Control Room chat feed to see Super Chats and Super Stickers alongside other messages. Moderators can handle paid messages under the same moderation rules as other live-chat messages; messages that violate policies may be removed.
- Keep monitoring the broadcast. Check audio and video quality during the stream, not only at startup. YouTube’s operational checklist is in its live streaming tips.
Plan the 24/7 schedule around YouTube’s archive limit
YouTube’s encoder instructions say streams shorter than 12 hours are automatically archived. They do not promise uninterrupted operation or automatic archiving for one stream that exceeds 12 hours. For a continuous channel, schedule stream handoffs or restarts before the limit and decide separately how you will preserve recordings. Do not assume that a single 24-hour broadcast will produce an automatic archive. YouTube’s encoder instructions.

Revenue, moderation, and viewer access
YouTube’s current Help documentation says creators receive 70% of Supers revenue confirmed by Google, after local sales tax and iOS App Store fees. YouTube says it currently covers transaction costs, including credit-card fees. This is YouTube’s documented revenue calculation, not a guarantee of a particular amount from a stream. Keep moderators available if a busy chat needs attention. They can moderate Super Chats and Super Stickers as they do other live-chat messages, and policy-violating messages may be removed. If viewers report that chat is missing, first check that they are on the YouTube watch page rather than an embedded player, then verify that live chat is enabled for the stream.

Troubleshoot common problems
- Super Chat does not appear: Confirm the channel and stream are eligible, live chat is enabled, and the feature is available to the channel. Review the Studio Earn controls and accept the Commerce Product Module if required.
- You cannot see paid messages in the control room: Open the active stream’s Live Control Room chat feed and make sure you are viewing the correct stream. Viewers using an embedded player may not see live chat; direct them to the YouTube watch page.
- The encoder will not connect: Check that the server URL and stream key were copied into the correct fields, and that the key belongs to the intended stream. Keep the key private; if it may have been exposed, manage or replace it through YouTube’s stream settings.
- The stream looks or sounds wrong: Check the Live Control Room preview before going live, then monitor audio and video after launch. Recheck the encoder’s selected input and connection if the preview is missing or degraded.
- The recording is missing after a long broadcast: A single stream running beyond 12 hours is not covered by YouTube’s stated automatic-archive guidance. Use planned shorter segments and a separate recording or archive workflow rather than relying on an automatic archive of the full 24-hour run.
