You can run prerecorded video or audio continuously on YouTube with LiveReacting by creating a 24/7 project, adding rights-cleared media, enabling a file or playlist loop, connecting your YouTube channel, and starting or scheduling the broadcast. LiveReacting says the stream runs on its servers, so your computer can be shut down after setup. First confirm that YouTube live streaming is enabled for your channel; first-time activation may take up to 24 hours.
Before you build the stream
Check YouTube live-stream eligibility
LiveReacting says your channel needs live streaming enabled and must not have active restrictions. If this is your first time enabling live streaming, activation may take up to 24 hours. Check your current status in YouTube Studio before preparing a scheduled launch; platform eligibility and timing can change.
Use media you can broadcast
Use video, music, and visuals that you created, own, or have a license to stream. For third-party material, check that the license covers livestream transmission and any replay or recording use you intend to allow. Being able to upload a file does not establish that you have broadcast rights.
Prepare original files and a useful program
Keep your original media files. LiveReacting cautions that YouTube may not save streams longer than 12 hours, so a long-running broadcast should not be your only copy of its source material. A loop can also become repetitive: build a program that offers viewers meaningful value rather than assuming that continuous playback alone will support monetization. YouTube’s current rules should be checked directly before relying on a monetization outcome.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Set up the 24/7 stream in LiveReacting
- Create the project. In LiveReacting Studio, create a 24/7 template or start a project from scratch.
- Add your media. Upload the video or audio files you have rights to use. LiveReacting’s product page says paid plans also support imports from supported YouTube, Google Drive, or Dropbox sources; check the service for current plan limits and supported import options.
- Choose the loop format. For one file, enable Loop. For multiple files, add them to a playlist, choose their order or shuffle, and enable playlist looping. Preview the selection to make sure the playback will not simply end when a file finishes.
- Connect YouTube. Link your YouTube channel using the available authorization flow, or use a YouTube stream key where appropriate. Treat the stream key as a password: do not share it or publish it, and use YouTube Studio to replace it if it is exposed.
- Set broadcast details and timing. Enter a title and description, then set a duration or choose a manual stop. If scheduling, verify the device time zone and the scheduling window currently offered by the platform. LiveReacting’s help documentation says scheduling uses the device time zone.
- Preview and launch. Check the start position and stream settings, then choose Go Live or use the scheduled start. Open the YouTube watch page and confirm that the stream is actually live. LiveReacting describes the broadcast as running on its cloud servers after launch, so closing your local browser or shutting down your computer should not end it.
Choose a file loop or a playlist
| Format | Best fit | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Single-file loop | A simple channel format centered on one rights-cleared video or audio asset. | Repeated playback can feel monotonous; consider viewer value and monetization suitability. |
| Playlist loop | A channel with a catalog of rights-cleared assets or a longer rotation. | Requires more prepared media and ongoing playlist maintenance. |
Whichever format you choose, confirm that the loop setting is on before going live. A playlist adds variety, but it does not change your responsibility to have the rights for every item.
What to expect after launch
LiveReacting’s cloud operation is useful when you do not want a local computer to remain online overnight. By contrast, OBS is a free local option: the computer running OBS and its network connection must remain active for the broadcast to continue. A YouTube Premiere is intended for a one-time scheduled viewing of one uploaded video, not a continuous looping stream.

LiveReacting’s setup pages describe the workflow and service behavior, but they do not establish an independent uptime or failure-rate figure. Do not treat the cloud setup itself as a guarantee against interruptions; confirm the broadcast is live on YouTube after launch and check it if the stream matters to a scheduled audience.
Troubleshoot common setup problems
- You cannot start a live stream: Check YouTube Studio for live-stream activation and channel restrictions. If you have only just enabled live streaming, allow for the activation delay LiveReacting reports, which may be up to 24 hours.
- The video stops instead of repeating: Return to the project and verify that Loop is enabled for a single asset, or that playlist looping is enabled for a collection.
- The scheduled stream starts at the wrong time: Check the device time zone used by LiveReacting’s scheduling controls, then review the scheduled start in the project and YouTube.
- The stream does not appear live on YouTube: Confirm the correct channel or stream key is connected, then check the YouTube watch page rather than relying only on the LiveReacting project view.
- A stream archive is missing or incomplete: LiveReacting warns that YouTube may not save streams longer than 12 hours. Retain the original files and do not rely on the platform archive as your only copy.
- A rights or monetization concern arises: Remove or replace material unless your rights cover broadcast and any replay use. Review current YouTube policy for decisions about repetitive or mass-produced programming.
Or let it run in the cloud
If you want a simpler cloud workflow for prerecorded video on YouTube, StreamNeo works in three steps: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It keeps the stream running with your computer off; each slot supports the uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, with no re-encode or quality tiers; and it automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream.
