Publish the schedule in India Standard Time (IST), but first verify how your Gyre account displays and applies time zones: the available documentation does not establish whether scheduled times are converted to IST automatically.
Before you build the schedule
Check that the channel is ready and that you can connect it to Gyre. Gyre’s setup guidance says channel authorization must be completed by the Google Account that owns the YouTube channel. The channel must be verified, live streaming must be enabled, and it must not have had a live-streaming restriction during the preceding 90 days. Gyre also describes manual stream-key setup as an alternative for creators who need it. Gyre’s automation guide and its pre-recorded streaming guide cover these requirements.
- Choose channel authorization if you can authorize the owning Google Account and want Gyre’s streamlined setup.
- Consider manual stream-key setup if you need more control over YouTube Studio configuration. Gyre describes this as an option for advanced Studio setups; confirm the current choices available in your account.
- Decide whether the two blocks need distinct stream metadata as well as distinct playlists. Separate stream entries let you manage each block independently.
Design the morning and evening playlists
Create two coherent playlists rather than relying on one list for both parts of the day. For example, a documentary channel might group calmer, shorter explainers in a morning playlist and longer, more immersive films in an evening playlist, if that suits its own viewers and rights-cleared catalog. These are editorial choices, not proven peak-time formulas for Indian audiences.
Gyre says playlist order determines playback order and that the stream starts the playlist again from its first file after the final file finishes. Its guidance recommends at least one hour of material and ideally three to five hours. Treat those durations as Gyre’s recommendations, not as a universal technical requirement or a tested threshold. Prepare the files according to the current Gyre upload guidance.

- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Use only material you have the right to stream. Scheduling does not grant permission to rebroadcast a film, documentary, music track, or other video. For YouTube’s separate feature for grouping creator-owned videos intended to be watched together, see YouTube’s Series playlists guidance; a YouTube Series playlist is not the same thing as a Gyre playlist used for a live stream.
Create the streams and schedule each one
- Connect the channel. In Gyre, authorize the YouTube channel with its owning Google Account, or use the manual stream-key path if that is the setup you need. Confirm the channel prerequisites before continuing.
- Create the morning stream. Add the video files in the intended order and configure the stream’s viewer-facing details. Check that the playlist is the morning version before saving.
- Create the evening stream. Repeat the setup with the evening playlist and its own stream details. Gyre treats each stream as its own scheduler entry.
- Open Streams Scheduler. Select the morning stream, then create a scheduler entry and choose a start time, an end time, or both. Repeat for the evening stream. Gyre documents month, week, and day views, and says entries can be edited or removed.
- Verify timing before relying on automation. Create a low-risk test schedule. Compare the time displayed in the account with the intended date and time in IST, then confirm when the broadcast actually starts. The available documentation does not specify Gyre’s scheduler time zone or whether it converts times automatically, so do not assume that entering an IST clock time will produce an IST launch.
- Publish the viewer schedule in IST. State the time zone explicitly as IST (UTC+05:30), including the date where useful. YouTube recommends a consistent, sustainable live schedule and communicating changes; it also suggests showing the schedule on the channel banner. Choose exact hours using your channel’s audience analytics rather than assuming that one set of morning or evening hours works for every Indian channel.
Check plan access before subscribing
Gyre’s current product guidance lists the scheduler and playlists on its free trial, Start+, and PRO+ plans, and says the Start plan does not include the scheduler. Plan names and availability can change, so confirm the current plan details in Gyre before paying. Gyre’s scheduler update describes the listed availability.
