How to Schedule a 24/7 YouTube Stream in LiveReacting

Create a LiveReacting project, choose manual stop for an indefinite broadcast, and use basic or advanced scheduling for future YouTube starts. Check time-zone and replay limits first.

To schedule a 24/7 YouTube stream in LiveReacting, create a project with prerecorded content, connect your YouTube channel, then set the stream duration to “I’ll stop my stream manually.” For a later start, add a date and time in Stream Settings; for multiple dates or repeats, use Advanced Scheduling. Check the time zone, the schedule’s advance limit, and YouTube’s replay limit before you set it up.

Set up the project and connect YouTube

  1. Create a project. In LiveReacting Studio, create a new project and add a video layer or other content. The 24/7 workflow supports looping a prerecorded video or playing multiple video and audio items in sequence.
  2. Open Stream Settings. Connect the YouTube channel you want to broadcast to, then enter the stream title and description.
  3. Choose the duration. Select “I’ll stop my stream manually” for an indefinite run. This sets the stream to continue until you stop it; it does not mean YouTube will preserve a full replay of the broadcast.

LiveReacting says its cloud servers continue broadcasting after you close the browser. That describes the service’s workflow, not an independently verified uptime guarantee. See LiveReacting’s 24/7 YouTube stream guide.

Schedule a single start time

  1. In Stream Settings, open Scheduling and choose the date and time for the stream to start.
  2. Check the device’s time zone before confirming. LiveReacting says its basic YouTube scheduling control uses the device’s time zone; convert the intended start time if you are entering it from a device set to another zone.
  3. Enable Create live announcement if you want a scheduled event to appear on your channel ahead of the start so viewers can find and promote it. The announcement uses the project’s image.
  4. Review the schedule and save it. LiveReacting documents basic YouTube scheduling up to two weeks ahead. See LiveReacting’s scheduling settings guide.

Schedule multiple dates or repeating streams

Use Advanced Scheduling when one start time is not enough—for example, a documentary screening that runs on selected dates or a recurring program. LiveReacting’s guide says this feature requires the Medium plan or higher, supports dates up to four weeks ahead, and requires at least three minutes between scheduled streams. Check current plan details before subscribing, since plan matrices can change.

  1. Open Advanced Scheduling and choose the dates or repeat pattern.
  2. Review the interval between each scheduled stream; LiveReacting states that scheduled streams must be separated by at least three minutes.
  3. Decide whether to enable Keep stream progress. This option affects progress across multi-date and repeat schedules, so check the selected behavior against whether each broadcast should continue from its previous position or begin anew.
  4. Confirm the schedule only after reviewing the project and stream settings. LiveReacting says multi-date and repeat schedules preserve a snapshot of the project, and certain stream settings cannot be edited after scheduling. If a needed setting is locked, cancel the affected scheduled broadcasts, make the change, and schedule them again.

Advanced scheduling details are in LiveReacting’s Advanced Scheduling guide.

ZowieBox, 4K HDMI NDI Video Encoder/Decoder, HDMI NDI
  • Compact but Powerful Design: ZowieBox is smaller than a phone, featuring a tally light and LCD screen for streaming status. Capture console gameplay in up to 4K with zero-lag HDMI passthrough, while the built-in video encoder converts video for IP streaming. The IP stream can also be decoded back to a 4K HDMI signal.
  • Standalone Game Streaming: Just plug and play—ZowieBox enables PC-free live gaming without affecting gameplay. As an RTMP hardware encoder and HDMI streamer, it delivers stable streaming directly from your source, making it ideal for gaming, live events, and professional broadcasting.
  • NDI|HX3 Converter Technology: ZowieBox converts HDMI signals to NDI|HX3/HX2/HX, functioning as an NDI video encoder, or NDI Video Decoder for flexible IP workflows. Certified NDI technology enables low-latency gameplay streaming through OBS/vMix. Note: Encoder and decoder modes cannot run simultaneously; full NDI signals are not supported.
  • UVC to HDMI Conversion: Supporting up to 4K@30fps and 1080p@60fps decoding, ZowieBox enables flexible conversion for webcam and video workflows. As a video decoder and HDMI to IP converter, it expands connectivity options for professional video devices. Note: USB capture card functionality is not currently supported.
  • All-around Configuration Options: Control ZowieBox through its web UI on a PC, phone, or tablet. Manage connected PTZ cameras, tally light, video/audio, OSD, work mode, streams, network, and system settings. Support for VISCA over IP encoder workflows enables flexible PTZ control, while the dashboard provides video preview and system status.

Choose the schedule that fits the broadcast

Need LiveReacting option Published limit or consideration
One future start Basic Scheduling in Stream Settings Up to two weeks ahead; uses the device’s time zone.
Several dates or a repeat pattern Advanced Scheduling Medium plan or higher; up to four weeks ahead; at least three minutes between scheduled streams. Scheduled settings may be locked because the project state is snapshotted.
Uninterrupted broadcast “I’ll stop my stream manually” LiveReacting’s help page says YouTube has no duration limit, but a stream longer than 12 hours will not be archived.

The limits above are those stated in LiveReacting’s help pages; current plan terms and account-specific YouTube eligibility should be checked in the service and YouTube Studio. YouTube’s archive behavior makes an uninterrupted 24/7 broadcast a poor fit if you need one complete replay. LiveReacting’s duration guidance is at For how long can I stream?

Check YouTube eligibility and content rights

  • Confirm the channel can go live. YouTube eligibility can vary by account. Check the channel’s current status in YouTube Studio before relying on a scheduled start.
  • Use content you have the right to broadcast. A scheduled stream is still subject to YouTube’s copyright and other platform policies. Permission to use a documentary, soundtrack, still image, or other material should cover livestreaming, not just offline viewing.
  • Consider replay needs separately. A broadcast longer than 12 hours will not be archived according to LiveReacting’s help page, so plan separate, shorter sessions if a replay matters.

Troubleshooting scheduling problems

  • The stream starts at the wrong local time: Check the time zone configured on the device used to schedule it, then recalculate the intended time and edit or recreate the schedule.
  • You cannot schedule far enough ahead: Basic scheduling is documented up to two weeks ahead. Use Advanced Scheduling for dates within its stated four-week horizon, and verify that the account is on Medium or higher.
  • An advanced schedule will not accept closely spaced sessions: Leave at least three minutes between scheduled broadcasts.
  • You cannot change a setting on an already scheduled repeat: The schedule may use a snapshot of the project and lock certain settings. Cancel the affected broadcasts, update the project or stream settings, and schedule again.
  • The stream ends or does not run indefinitely: Reopen Stream Settings and verify that the duration is set to “I’ll stop my stream manually.” Also confirm the channel’s live-stream eligibility in YouTube Studio.
  • You cannot find a complete replay: LiveReacting says YouTube will not archive streams longer than 12 hours. An indefinite broadcast should not be treated as a single replayable recording.

Or let it run in the cloud

If your goal is an always-on prerecorded YouTube stream rather than a scheduled LiveReacting event, StreamNeo offers a separate cloud workflow: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It loops uploaded videos without requiring your computer or home connection to stay on. Every slot streams the uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, with automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card; the monthly option is $9.99 per month. Start a free StreamNeo day.
