To run a Marathi radio-style channel continuously on YouTube, send a rights-cleared audio-and-video feed from an encoder to YouTube Live Control Room, then keep the audio source, encoder, power and internet connection running—or use a cloud service that loops uploaded videos. Before launch, confirm your channel is eligible and that your permissions cover YouTube live use, the relevant territories and any archive. For broadcasts longer than 12 hours, keep your own recording: YouTube says a stream that long may not be captured at all.
What you need before going live
- A YouTube channel currently eligible to livestream. YouTube says the channel must be verified, have no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days, and the broadcaster must meet its minimum age of 16. Check the channel’s status in YouTube Studio before scheduling. YouTube live-stream eligibility
- An encoder or cloud service that can send an audio-and-video feed to YouTube using its stream URL and key.
- Music, speech, jingles and visuals cleared for the planned YouTube livestream, territories and any saved archive.
- A stable power and internet supply for a local encoder, and a plan for interruptions and recording.
YouTube’s encoder workflow sends a video feed as well as audio. A static image or branded visual can accompany a radio program, but it is an implementation choice, not a stated YouTube requirement.
Clear music and visuals for YouTube use
Do not assume that owning a recording, crediting its artist, or having permission for ordinary radio broadcasts automatically clears a YouTube livestream. YouTube’s terms put responsibility on the broadcaster to hold the rights needed for worldwide exploitation on Google services, including relevant music rights from artists, record labels, publishers and other royalty participants. The permissions needed depend on the recording, composition, territories and whether you plan to keep an archive. YouTube livestream terms and conditions
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. Detection can produce a placeholder image, warning, temporary interruption or termination. For licensed third-party material, YouTube says to ask the rights owner to allowlist your channel; a licence by itself does not ensure uninterrupted playback. If an archive is created, it can receive a Content ID claim after the stream ends. Copyright issues with live streams

- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Creator Music is not a blanket route for a live radio feed: YouTube’s Creator Music usage guidance limits its licensed or revenue-sharing tracks to long-form videos, not livestreams. Confirm current terms and the rights for your actual catalogue with the relevant rights holders or qualified counsel. There is no universal Marathi- or India-specific clearance checklist established here.
Set up the YouTube livestream with an encoder
- Check eligibility. In YouTube Studio, confirm that the channel can currently livestream and review any restrictions before you announce a continuous schedule.
- Prepare the programme. Assemble your Marathi music, speech, jingles and visual material only after confirming rights for the intended territories, livestream and archive. Keep written permission records. If licensed third-party content may trigger Content ID, ask the rights owner about allowlisting the channel.
- Create the stream. Open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room and create or select a stream. Copy the stream URL and stream key into your encoder. Treat the key like a password: anyone who has it may be able to send video to your stream. Follow YouTube’s encoder setup guide.
- Configure the feed. Add the audio programme and a video source, such as a static image or visual loop. Use a supported encoder and audio/video format. YouTube recommends RTMPS when available, which encrypts the connection. Choose video resolution and bitrate to match the visual and your reliably available upload capacity; do not choose settings that your connection cannot sustain.
- Apply the relevant encoder settings. YouTube recommends constant bitrate (CBR), a two-second keyframe interval (and says not to exceed four seconds), and stereo AAC audio at 128 Kbps and 44.1 kHz in its encoder guidance. These are platform recommendations; verify the current settings page before launch. YouTube encoder settings, bitrates and resolutions
- Test before going public. Start the encoder, check the Live Control Room preview, listen from a separate device and confirm that the visual, sound and stream access are correct. Watch for network or encoder interruptions. YouTube recommends testing and continuously monitoring a stream. YouTube live-streaming tips
- Keep the programme running and record it. For a local setup, the playback source, encoder, computer, power and network all need to remain available. Make a local recording if preserving the full programme matters, especially for a broadcast longer than 12 hours.
Plan for archives, long broadcasts and interruptions
YouTube can automatically archive streams shorter than 12 hours, but it does not guarantee preservation, and a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. YouTube’s guidance says, “If your stream exceeds 12 hours, it may not be captured at all.” Keep a local recording and decide how you will handle a restart or handoff if the feed drops. A continuous schedule also needs an operating plan: who checks the live output, how playback resumes after an interruption, and how the programme is recorded. A local encoder leaves power, internet, software and recovery in your hands; a cloud workflow can remove the need to leave a home computer running. Compare those responsibilities against the actual service terms and costs before choosing.

Troubleshooting a continuous broadcast
- The stream will not start: Recheck channel eligibility and restrictions in Studio, confirm that the encoder has the correct stream URL and key, and make sure it is sending a compatible audio-and-video feed.
- The stream starts but drops or stutters: Check the encoder and network status, and reduce video demands if the upload connection cannot reliably sustain the chosen settings. Confirm that power and the playback source remain available.
- You see a copyright warning or interruption: Review the detected content and the relevant permissions. For licensed third-party content, contact the rights owner about allowlisting the channel; a licence does not guarantee that YouTube will not interrupt the feed.
- The livestream ends without a complete replay: Do not depend on YouTube’s automatic archive for a stream over 12 hours. Preserve a local recording and plan a restart or handoff if a continuous schedule is essential.
