You can run prerecorded Hindi news bulletins as a YouTube live stream by preparing a rights-cleared program, scheduling a live event in YouTube Studio, and sending a continuous feed through a compatible encoder. YouTube does not automatically loop files from a folder: the encoder and playout setup must handle the sequence. For a 24/7 channel, you can either operate that setup yourself or use a cloud service such as StreamNeo to loop uploaded videos to YouTube.
What you need before going live
- A verified YouTube channel with live streaming available and no live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. YouTube’s live-streaming overview also states that streamers must be at least 16. Check your channel’s current access before planning a broadcast: YouTube live-streaming overview.
- Prerecorded bulletin files assembled into a continuous program, plus a compatible software or hardware encoder and a playout workflow that can present the files in sequence.
- YouTube Studio access, a stream URL and stream key, and a reliable connection for the encoder to send the feed.
- Rights for every element in the program, including scripts, narration, images, clips, music and sound effects.
YouTube’s guidance supports encoder-based streaming, but does not specify a required application for looping prerecorded files. Confirm that your chosen playout and encoder setup supports your file formats and continuous playback; YouTube does not automatically turn a folder of bulletins into a live playlist.
Prepare the bulletins and check rights
Build a continuous program
Arrange the bulletins, transitions and any branded slate in the intended running order. Test the full sequence before broadcast, including the handoff between files, audio levels, picture and any gaps. If you are recording narration, a suitable microphone can help; it is optional, not a YouTube eligibility requirement. YouTube recommends preparing the encoder and monitoring the outgoing audio and video.
Clear every element for live and archived use
Use material you created or have permission to use, and make sure the permission covers both the live broadcast and any resulting archive. YouTube places responsibility on the provider to obtain necessary rights and comply with applicable law. Live streams are scanned for third-party content and may be interrupted or terminated. Even licensed third-party content may require the rights owner to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. Review YouTube’s live-stream copyright guidance before including music or clips.

The official YouTube guidance cited here does not establish Hindi- or India-specific broadcast licensing obligations. Requirements can depend on where you operate and distribute the stream; consult jurisdiction-specific advice if you operate as a regulated broadcaster or news organization.
Schedule the YouTube event and connect the encoder
- Create the event: In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live → Manage → Schedule Stream. Add the title, description, visibility and other event details. Scheduling gives you an upcoming page to share and can let viewers opt into a reminder. If you do not need advance promotion, starting an immediate stream may be simpler.
- Check the stream configuration: Confirm the selected stream key and settings, especially if reusing an earlier configuration. YouTube’s stream settings and encoder guidance are available in its live encoder setup instructions.
- Copy the connection details: Copy YouTube’s stream URL and stream key from the live setup and enter them in the encoder’s streaming settings. Treat the key like a password: anyone with it may be able to send a feed to your event.
- Start and inspect: Start the encoder and check the Live Control Room preview for picture and sound before beginning the broadcast. Monitor the feed as it runs rather than assuming a successful connection means the whole program is playing correctly.
- End deliberately: When the program is finished, stop sending the feed from the encoder, confirm the event has ended in YouTube Studio, then review the archive and any copyright notices.
Choose a playout and operating schedule
Use software or hardware that can play the sequence
YouTube supports encoder workflows using software or hardware. Choose based on whether it can continuously present your files in order, how reliably you can operate it, and your budget. The official guidance does not establish a current brand or model comparison, so verify compatibility and automation capabilities with the vendor before relying on a specific product.

Decide between a scheduled event and an immediate stream
A scheduled event is useful when you want a shareable page and time for viewers to set reminders. An immediate stream avoids advance event setup when there is no promotion lead time. In either case, verify the event settings and preview before the audience-facing broadcast begins.
Break long broadcasts into sessions if the archive matters
YouTube can automatically archive streams shorter than 12 hours. It warns that streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. If a complete YouTube archive is important, use separate sessions that stay under that threshold and keep a local recording as backup. See YouTube’s live-stream archiving guidance.

Protect originality and monetization eligibility
Rights clearance, compliance with YouTube rules and monetization eligibility are separate questions. Having permission to use a news article or music does not by itself mean a channel will qualify for monetization. YouTube’s channel monetization policy says that content consisting exclusively of readings of material the creator did not originally create, such as text from websites or news feeds, may be ineligible. The review applies at channel level and reused-content review is separate from copyright enforcement.
For a Hindi news channel, build the program around your own reporting and scripts, with meaningful explanation or analysis and a clearly authored production. Attribute sources where appropriate, but do not assume attribution or a license alone resolves monetization review.

Troubleshoot common failures
- The encoder will not connect: Recheck that the stream URL and key are copied into the correct encoder fields, that the selected YouTube event is the one you intend to use, and that the channel currently has live access.
- The preview is blank or has no sound: Confirm the encoder is sending the intended output and inspect the playout sequence, file compatibility and audio routing. Check the Live Control Room preview before starting the event.
- The feed stops between bulletins: The playout setup may not be handing off files continuously. Test the entire sequence, including transitions and the final-to-first-file loop, before using it for a long broadcast.
- The stream is interrupted by a copyright notice: Review the matched material and your live-use rights. A license may not be enough if the rights owner has not allowlisted your channel in Content ID; contact the owner or remove the material.
- The archive is missing or incomplete: A stream lasting longer than 12 hours may not be captured. Keep a local recording and use separate, shorter sessions when the YouTube archive must be dependable.
- The channel cannot start a live stream: Check verification and current live-streaming restrictions in YouTube Studio, including whether a restriction has applied within the previous 90 days.
