Before uploading, make a track-level rights record. For each recording, note the rights holder, permitted uses, territories, and contact details for any required permissions. A devotional song can involve separate rights in the composition, lyrics, arrangement, and particular sound recording. The available sources do not identify the owner of any specific bhajan or establish what a particular license permits, so verify each asset and territory rather than assuming that a song’s religious or traditional subject makes a recording free to use.
Create and start the continuous stream in LiveReacting

Copyright: clear every track and account for Content ID
YouTube states: “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” If its systems detect third-party content, YouTube may replace the stream with a placeholder and warn you to stop using the material. If it remains, the live stream may be interrupted or terminated. These rules apply to every recording in a playlist, not just the first item.
If you have permission to use third-party content, YouTube instructs you to ask the rights owner to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. A license alone may not prevent an interruption if the channel has not been allowlisted. - Confirm that permission covers livestreaming, the relevant recording and composition rights, and each territory where the stream will be available.
- Keep written records of licenses and permissions, including any restrictions or required attribution.
- Where applicable, ask the rights holder to allowlist your YouTube channel through Content ID before broadcasting.
- If YouTube flags or interrupts the stream, follow the notice and resolve the rights issue before resuming the affected material.
This is practical platform guidance, not a determination of rights in a specific song or legal advice for a particular country.
Make the programming useful, not just continuous
A 24/7 loop is not a monetization guarantee. YouTube’s notice dated July 15, 2025 renamed “repetitious content” to “inauthentic content” to clarify that repetitive or mass-produced material is included. The policy applies to live streams as well as other formats. YouTube says monetized material should be original and authentic, not generic or repetitive, and made for viewer enjoyment or education rather than solely for views. Reviewers may consider a channel’s theme, most-viewed and newest videos, watch-time-heavy content, and metadata.

For a devotional channel, build a meaningful listening experience rather than relying on a static loop as evidence of originality. Curate a substantial rotation, identify songs and performers accurately, add context where appropriate, and revise the schedule when there is a genuine programming reason. Cosmetic overlays alone do not establish substantial originality, and channel eligibility remains subject to YouTube’s current review and policies.
