To run Hindi devotional songs continuously on YouTube without leaving a computer on, use a cloud service that loops prerecorded video, or build and operate your own cloud encoding pipeline. Either way, you still create a YouTube Live stream and connect it to the encoder with its server URL and stream key. Before anything goes live, clear the rights for the specific recordings and visuals, and arrange Content ID allowlisting where needed: devotional subject matter does not make a song or recording public domain.

Clear the music, recording, and visual rights first
Confirm that you have permission for the particular composition and sound recording, as well as artwork or other visual material. Rights can differ by use and territory: permission to use a composition does not necessarily grant rights to a specific recording, arrangement, image, live stream, or archive. Do not infer permission from a song’s devotional subject, an online download, an earlier upload, or a licence for a different use. The cited YouTube guidance does not establish that any particular Hindi devotional song is cleared.

YouTube scans live streams for matches to third-party content. A match can cause a placeholder and a warning to stop using the material; continued use may interrupt or terminate the stream. YouTube also cautions that a licensed stream can still be interrupted if the channel has not been added to the rights owner’s Content ID allowlist, including where territorial restrictions apply. Before launch, ask the relevant rights owner, label, or distributor to confirm both the licence and any required allowlisting. YouTube for Artists likewise recommends coordinating with a label or distributor when using copyright-protected music.
If you plan to keep an archive, confirm that your rights cover that use too. YouTube says claims on an archived stream are made after the live stream ends if the creator archives it.
Prepare your files and YouTube Live stream
1. Prepare the program
Collect the cleared recordings and the visual material that will accompany them, such as devotional artwork, captions, or loop visuals. Arrange the files in the intended order or playlist, and ensure the visuals and audio are representative of the stream you will test. Keep a record of permissions, territories, and any allowlisting confirmation.

2. Enable live streaming and create the stream
- If live streaming is not enabled on your channel, enable it first. YouTube says first-time enablement may take up to 24 hours; this is an upper estimate, not a guaranteed activation time.
- In YouTube Studio, open Create → Go Live. Create a stream or schedule one. Scheduling provides a watch page that you can promote ahead of time.
- In the Live Control Room, copy the stream server URL and stream key into the chosen cloud encoder’s stream settings. Treat the key as a credential: do not publish it or share it with anyone who should not control the stream.
- Start the encoder and check the Live Control Room preview and stream-health status before relying on the stream or promoting it as live.
The cloud service supplies the outgoing encoder connection; it does not replace the YouTube Live setup. YouTube’s current encoder guidance recommends RTMPS for encrypted ingestion.

Set stream quality and test before launch
Use an encoder and cloud configuration that can sustain the chosen bitrate. YouTube publishes bitrate recommendations by resolution and frame rate, and its current guidance supports H.264, H.265/HEVC, and AV1. Check the current YouTube encoder settings guidance and the selected service’s supported settings rather than assuming every resolution, frame rate, codec, or bitrate is available on every service.
For a mostly static devotional visual, there is usually no reason to chase 4K. Choose a resolution suited to the actual visual source, the audience’s likely connection quality, and the encoder’s capabilities. A higher resolution or bitrate increases the amount of data the stream must carry, without necessarily improving a still image for viewers.

YouTube recommends testing with audio and movement similar to the planned program, then watching stream health and any messages in Live Control Room. For this format, test representative songs and visual changes, not only a silent or static placeholder. Correct audio levels and check that the loop transition does not introduce an unintended gap or abrupt change.
Keep the stream running and plan for its limits
Monitor Live Control Room and the cloud encoder after launch for health messages, disconnects, and unexpected content warnings. Managed services and a custom pipeline differ in their monitoring and recovery capabilities; check the chosen service’s current documentation rather than assuming a playlist will recover in every failure case.
YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours are automatically archived. That does not guarantee that one stream will remain live indefinitely, nor does it guarantee indefinite archiving. If an uninterrupted channel presence is important, make an explicit operating plan for stream duration, restarts, scheduled watch pages, and how you will handle any interruption. Also confirm that the rights cover the full live duration and any resulting archive.

Understand cloud infrastructure costs
Managed-service pricing and a custom cloud pipeline are not directly comparable without checking what each includes. In particular, AWS’s published examples describe a video delivery architecture, including viewer distribution, rather than the cost of sending one encoder feed into YouTube.
