What entertainment was scheduled, and did it need a separate ticket?
A later planDisney answer, posted November 27, 2024, described the entertainment then scheduled for the night. It said the offerings could be enjoyed with regular park admission and that no separate special event was scheduled at that time. That guidance applies to the entertainment described in the answer, not necessarily every activity or dining option.

Magic Kingdom fireworks
Fantasy in the Sky was listed for 6:50 p.m. and 11:50 p.m. The earlier performance offered an option for visitors who did not want to stay for the late show.

Universal CityWalk Orlando: dining and a district countdown
For a celebration centered on restaurants and district entertainment rather than a theme-park fireworks plan, Discover Universal’s December 19, 2024 guide described New Year’s Eve offerings at CityWalk Orlando. The article said the district would stay open until 2 a.m., with a DJ, live entertainment, and a midnight countdown from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.

What can be confirmed about Universal Studios Hollywood?
The available official EVE information describes the later celebration on December 31, 2025, welcoming 2026—not the 2024–25 event. That later edition ran from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. and featured three live-entertainment areas, rides and attractions, a park-wide countdown, and fireworks; its guide said admission was included in that night’s theme-park ticket. Planning for a future New Year’s Eve
Do not use these 2024 schedules to plan a later visit. Walt Disney World’s reported hours and entertainment were specific to that date, and the capacity warning was dated visitor guidance. Universal Studios Hollywood says operating hours vary, are typically posted four weeks ahead, and can change. Check the operators’ live calendars and ticket terms close to your visit.
