To set up automatic team recordings on Fubo, find one of the team’s live or upcoming games, open Recording Options, and choose the option to record every game for that team. Then check My Stuff > Scheduled to confirm the rule is active.
“Every game” means every qualifying game Fubo can record for your plan and location—not every game the team plays. Channel access, regional restrictions, Cloud DVR availability, and support for that league can all affect what gets recorded.
Before you set up team recordings
- Check channel access. The game must be carried on a channel included in your Fubo plan. A recording rule cannot add a channel or bypass a blackout.
- Check that the event is recordable. Fubo’s team and league recording feature applies to selected leagues, and some programs may not allow Cloud DVR recording.
- Know the 4K limitation. Fubo says live 4K programming cannot be recorded through Cloud DVR. A game’s standard broadcast and its 4K feed may therefore be treated differently.
- Understand the retention window. Fubo says U.S. plans include unlimited Cloud DVR storage, but recordings automatically expire after nine months. Unlimited storage does not mean permanent archiving.

Record every available game for a team
- Open Fubo and find a live or upcoming game played by the team. Use Search, Home, Guide, or Sports. Searching for the team or league is another option; see Fubo’s Search instructions.
- Select the game or open its details.
- Choose Recording Options.
- Select the option to record every game for that team—not the option to record only this game.
- Open My Stuff, then Scheduled or Scheduled Recordings, and confirm that the team rule or an upcoming game appears.
Starting from a specific scheduled game is the most consistent route across devices. A team marked as a favorite may be easier to find, but favoriting and creating a recording rule are separate actions: the recurring rule is made through Recording Options.

On a web browser
Find the game, select it or hover over its tile, and choose Recording Options. Select the team-wide recording choice. To check it, go to My Stuff > Scheduled or Scheduled Recordings.
On a smart TV or streaming device
Find and highlight the game with your remote, then press OK or Enter. Choose Record or Recording Options, select the team-wide option, and check My Stuff > Scheduled. Look in Recorded for games that have already aired.

On a phone or tablet
Find and tap the game, open Recording Options, and choose the option to record all games for the team. Go to My Stuff and check Scheduled for future games or Recordings for saved games.
Labels and menu placement can vary by device and app version. If you see only an option to record one game, check whether you selected an event in a league supported by team recording, and try another upcoming game from that team.

Confirm the rule and find your recordings
After setting the rule, verify at least one future game appears under My Stuff > Scheduled. If nothing is listed, do not assume the whole schedule will record. The team rule may not be supported for that league, or the event may not be available through your plan or in your region.
After a game airs, look under My Stuff > Recordings. If you have many saved programs, use the Sports filter or open the team folder. Fubo describes My Stuff as the place to view and manage scheduled and completed Cloud DVR recordings; see its My Stuff guide.

Team recording or league recording?
A team rule is usually the better fit when you follow one or a few teams: it keeps the collection focused. A league rule is for viewers who want all available games in a competition. To create one, find a game from the league, open Recording Options, and choose Record [League]. Manage the results in the league folder under My Stuff.

These are separate rules. Fubo says that recording both a league and one of its teams can create separate folders containing duplicate copies of that team’s games. A game shown on multiple subscribed channels may also appear more than once, such as on different language feeds. Use both rules only if you want those duplicates. Fubo also says league recordings are not organized by team, which can make them less convenient when you mainly follow one club.

Skip one game without stopping the team rule
Open the team folder in Scheduled or Scheduled Recordings, select the game you want to skip, and choose Cancel recording Game or the equivalent cancellation command. On mobile, Fubo documents this under the game’s three-dot More menu. Canceling that event should skip the individual game; it is different from stopping the recurring team rule.
Stop recording the team
Open the team’s recording options and choose Stop recording team. The control’s location can vary by device. Stopping the rule prevents future team recordings; deleting saved games is a separate task. Fubo warns that deleting recordings does not necessarily stop the associated recurring rule, so use the stop command when you want the automation to end. Why a game may be missing
- Check all recording locations. Look in My Stuff > Recordings, the team folder, and the Sports filter. A recording may be filed somewhere unexpected or duplicated under another channel.
- Check other profiles. Fubo lists another account profile as a possible reason a recording does not appear in the profile you are viewing.
- Check the plan and channel. The event must be carried on a channel included in your subscription. If Fubo does not offer a Record control, the program or channel may not support Cloud DVR.
- Check regional availability. A game can appear in a schedule yet be unavailable where you are because of blackout or other regional restrictions. A recurring rule cannot override those limits.
- Check the broadcast format. Live 4K programming cannot be recorded through Fubo Cloud DVR.
- Check the rule and league. Make sure the team rule is still active and that recurring team recording is offered for that league.
- Check whether it expired. Fubo says Cloud DVR recordings automatically expire after nine months.
- Look for a recovery option. Fubo says some programming, including sports, may be available through Lookback for up to 72 hours after broadcast. Availability depends on the event.

Fubo says an in-progress Cloud DVR recording can be played from the beginning once recording starts. Depending on your device, choose Play from start or, on mobile, Start Over. Use Watch Live or the Live control to return to the current broadcast point. See Fubo’s instructions for watching an in-progress recording.
What the feature does—and does not—guarantee
Fubo says U.S. subscribers can schedule as many simultaneous recordings as they like, subject to program and channel availability. That helps when games overlap, but does not make an unavailable broadcast recordable. A team rule automates recording of qualifying games Fubo can carry and record for your plan and location; it is not a substitute for channel rights, protection from blackouts, or a permanent sports archive.
