Spotify doesn’t offer one universal Play All command for every type of item in Your Library. To play all the tracks you’ve individually saved, open Liked Songs and choose Play or Shuffle. If by “all” you mean tracks from saved albums and other playlists too, make a master playlist and add those tracks; Spotify keeps those library categories separate.
Play all your Liked Songs
Liked Songs is Spotify’s built-in collection of tracks you have saved individually. In Spotify’s current library layout, it appears under Playlists in Your Library. Labels and navigation can vary slightly by device and app version. Spotify’s Your Library guide explains the collection and where to find it.
On iPhone, Android, or tablet
- Open the Spotify app and tap Your Library (sometimes labeled Collection) in the bottom menu.
- Open Liked Songs under Playlists.
- Tap Play to start at the beginning, or tap Shuffle to randomize the tracks.
On desktop or the web player
- Open Spotify and select Your Library from the side menu.
- Choose Liked Songs under Playlists.
- Click Play. To randomize the session, turn on the Shuffle control in the playback bar.
With Shuffle off, playback follows the collection’s displayed order. With Shuffle on, tracks play in a randomized order. Spotify’s Now Playing view includes separate Shuffle, Repeat, and Play Queue controls.
Shuffle without adding recommendations
Regular Shuffle randomizes tracks from the playlist or collection you started. Smart Shuffle can mix recommendations into a playlist or Liked Songs. Spotify says recommended tracks are marked with an Enhance badge in the Now Playing bar. See Spotify’s Shuffle play guide for current details.

If you have Premium and want to turn off Smart Shuffle in play modes, open your profile picture, go to Settings and privacy > Playback, then turn off Include Smart Shuffle in play modes. On Spotify Free mobile, playback controls are more limited, and Smart Shuffle or recommendations may be included. If strict control over order and skips matters, Premium is the more reliable option.
Why saved albums may be missing
Your Library is a collection of different kinds of items, not one combined song list. It can contain Liked Songs, saved albums, followed artists, playlists, podcasts, shows, and audiobooks. Saving an album or artist does not automatically save all of its songs to Liked Songs; saving one song does not automatically save its album or artist either. Spotify describes these distinctions in its library documentation.
So decide what “all” means:
- All individually saved tracks: Play or shuffle Liked Songs.
- All tracks across saved albums, Liked Songs, and selected playlists: Combine the tracks you want in a master playlist.
- All of Your Library, including podcasts or audiobooks: These are different content types, not necessarily part of one music session.
Spotify’s current support documentation does not describe a universal Play All control that combines every library category into one deduplicated music playlist.
Make a master playlist for more of your library
On mobile, Spotify offers a way to make a playlist from the current Liked Songs collection:

- Open Liked Songs.
- Apply a filter at the top if you want to narrow the collection.
- Tap Make this a playlist, then name the new playlist.
- Play or shuffle that playlist.
This is not an automatically synchronized “all liked songs” playlist. Spotify says the playlist is made from the current Liked Songs collection; songs you like later are not automatically added. Add new favorites yourself if you want the master playlist to stay current.
To include music from saved albums, open an album and use a track’s three-dot menu to add it to the master playlist. Repeat for other albums or playlists you want represented. Spotify documents adding songs or albums to a new or existing playlist in its Your Library guide; it does not document a universal one-click import of every track in all saved albums.
Choose the right playback control
- Play in order: Start playback from Liked Songs or your master playlist with Shuffle off.
- Random order: Start that collection and activate Shuffle.
- Repeat: Repeat is separate from Shuffle. Check the Now Playing control to see whether repeat is off, repeating the collection, or repeating one track.
The queue is for temporary additions, not a permanent all-library collection. On mobile, open Now Playing and tap Play Queue; on desktop or web, open Play Queue near the play bar. You can add tracks, reorder or remove them, and clear the queue using the available controls. For a lasting collection, use a playlist instead. See Spotify’s Play Queue guide.

Optional desktop and web shortcuts
Spotify lists shortcuts for going to Liked Songs, shuffling, opening the queue, and opening the library. The current guide includes Alt + Shift + S for Liked Songs, Alt + S for Shuffle on Mac, Ctrl/Cmd + S for Shuffle on Windows as displayed by Spotify, Alt + Shift + Q for Queue, and Alt + Shift + 0 for Library. Shortcuts can vary by operating system or app version; if one does not work, check Spotify’s keyboard shortcuts guide.

Does Premium matter?
Premium does not merge Your Library categories or create a synchronized master playlist. It does provide more playback control: Spotify lists playing songs in any order among Premium benefits, while Free mobile may restrict on-demand playback and skips. Premium also offers ad-free listening and music downloads. Availability, plan features, and terms vary by market; check Spotify’s Premium Individual details for your region.
For offline listening, Spotify says music downloads require Premium. Its US feature page lists a limit of up to 10,000 songs per device on up to five devices; limits and terms may depend on the account and region. See Spotify’s offline downloads page.

Common problems
“I saved an album, but its tracks aren’t in Liked Songs.”
That is expected: saving an album does not automatically save every song individually. Add the tracks you want to Liked Songs or your master playlist.
“Shuffle is playing songs I didn’t save.”
Smart Shuffle may be active. Check for recommendation indicators in Now Playing. If available on your Premium account, turn off Include Smart Shuffle in play modes in Playback settings.

“New favorites aren’t in my master playlist.”
The mobile Make this a playlist option uses the current Liked Songs collection. Add later likes to the playlist manually if you want it to stay up to date.
“The queue didn’t play my whole library.”
The queue is a temporary list tied to playback and tracks you add; it is not a mirror of Your Library. Start a playlist for a larger, reusable collection.
Spotify’s interface and available playback controls can differ by device, app version, country, plan, and content type. If labels or icons look different, look for the same collection or playback function in your current app.
