Add item numbers, prices and ordering directions as text sources, then connect OBS to an eligible YouTube channel through YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room. This shows prepared media on repeat; use a separate camera scene if you want to demonstrate a saree live.
Choose the right format for your catalog

OBS documents the Media Source loop control and VLC playlist options in its Media Sources guide. Its Sources Guide describes image, slideshow, text and video-capture sources. Install OBS from the official download page.
Prepare product cards buyers can follow
Use media you have permission to show
Use your shop’s own product photographs and clips, or get permission to use supplier or manufacturer images. For each item, prepare a short card with a consistent item number or SKU, verified saree type or fabric, price and ordering instructions. Keep essential details on screen long enough to read. Avoid claims about fabric or stock that you cannot verify.
Make the sequence easy to identify
Give files clear, numbered names if you plan to play them in order, and keep a matching item list nearby. A spoken item number should match the number shown on screen, so a viewer can ask about the same saree even if the video has moved on. A photo cannot guarantee how color or texture will look on every viewer’s display; invite questions or offer a live close-up when possible.

Build the loop in OBS
Install OBS and create a scene

Download OBS from the OBS Project download page and open it.

In the Scenes panel, create a scene for the catalog. A separate scene for a live camera demonstration makes it easier to switch formats without rebuilding the catalog layout.

In Sources, select the plus button and add the source that matches your files.
Loop one video

Choose Media Source and create a new source.

Select the local video file you want to play.

Enable Loop, then confirm the source settings. OBS will restart the file after playback completes.

Loop several video clips

Install VLC before setting up the source. Match its architecture to OBS: a 64-bit OBS installation needs 64-bit VLC.

Add a VLC Video source and populate its playlist with your catalog clips in the order you want.

Leave shuffle off if the order matters, and enable Loop Playlist.
Show still photographs and add labels

Add an OBS image or slideshow source, then select and order the product photographs. Set timing so viewers have a fair chance to read each card.

Add text sources for the item number, price and ordering route. Use the same item identifiers on screen and in your spoken presentation.

Arrange the sources in the Sources list: sources higher in the list appear above those lower down. Position and resize them in the preview, and check that text does not cover important saree details.
OBS’s Sources Guide explains how to order, hide, position, resize and crop sources. The right resolution and layout depend on your media and design; use YouTube’s current recommendations for the event rather than copying an old tutorial’s encoder values.

Check YouTube’s channel access requirements before planning the event. YouTube says encoder streaming requires a verified channel with no live-stream restriction in the preceding 90 days. See Get started with live streaming.

In YouTube Studio, create or schedule an encoder stream and open the current Live Control Room setup details. Use the stream key and encoder information shown there to connect OBS. Treat the stream key like a password: do not show it on screen or share it publicly.

In OBS, open the stream settings and enter the connection details from YouTube’s current setup. Follow YouTube’s current encoder settings, bitrates and resolutions guidance for the event; do not assume a bitrate or resolution from an older guide still applies.

Start the stream output in OBS. In YouTube Studio, check the incoming preview and stream health before making the event public or telling customers the catalog is live.
Check audio even if the catalog is visual
If you will narrate, test the microphone and monitoring before the event. If the loop should be silent, check that the video files do not contain unexpected audio. Use only music for which you have the necessary rights; low volume does not make copyrighted music safe to stream.
Make the stream useful to shoppers

Keep an item number visible, or repeat it clearly on each card, so viewers can refer to the right saree in chat.

Put a reliable ordering route in the stream description and, if useful, a pinned chat message. State stock, price and shipping details only when your shop can confirm them.

Use a separate camera scene for questions that need a live view, such as a closer look at fabric or a drape demonstration. The catalog loop itself does not need a camera.
Can you tag sarees as products on YouTube Live in India?
Possibly, but India-based sellers should not assume that product tags or checkout will be available automatically. YouTube lets eligible creators tag featured products in live streams. To tag your own sarees, you need to meet YouTube Shopping requirements and connect an eligible shop; check the Shopping or Earn options in your own YouTube Studio and confirm that your store, product feed, stock and shipping destinations are supported. YouTube says product tags may not appear in some circumstances, including when content is claimed or otherwise ineligible. India is on YouTube’s list of countries for eligible creators in the Shopping affiliate program, but location alone does not qualify a channel. The program has additional channel criteria, and affiliate eligibility is distinct from connecting your own shop to tag your sarees. Check YouTube Shopping affiliate program overview and eligibility for the current conditions.

YouTube says creators must own or control the rights to content in a live stream or clear the necessary rights. That includes music, and may include product photographs, clips, logos or other material supplied by someone else. Ask suppliers for permission that covers livestream use; do not assume a track is permitted just because it is embedded in a video or played quietly. YouTube’s guidance is in Tag products in your live streams.
Troubleshoot common loop and stream problems
The video stops instead of restarting
Open the Media Source properties and confirm Loop is enabled. For a playlist, check that Loop Playlist is enabled on the VLC Video source.
The VLC Video source is missing or will not play clips
Install VLC and make sure its architecture matches OBS. OBS documents that 64-bit OBS requires a 64-bit VLC installation.

Clips play in an unexpected order
Check the playlist order and turn shuffle off. For still images, review the slideshow’s configured sequence and timing.
Labels cover the saree or are hard to read
In the Sources list, move text above the relevant image or video, then adjust its size and position in the preview. Check the layout with every source visible before streaming.
YouTube does not show an incoming preview
Confirm that OBS is using the current encoder details from the correct YouTube Live Control Room stream, then check OBS’s connection and YouTube’s stream health. A copied or outdated stream key can prevent the expected connection; retrieve the current setup details in YouTube Studio.
You cannot start an encoder stream
Check whether the channel is verified and whether it has a live-stream restriction in the previous 90 days. YouTube’s live access rules are described in its live-streaming help.
A product tag is unavailable or does not appear
Check channel eligibility, connected-shop setup, product eligibility and shipping coverage in YouTube Studio. Claimed or otherwise ineligible content can affect whether tags display; do not promise tags before confirming the channel and product qualify.
