To replay a completed YouTube gaming livestream continuously, open its replay video and turn on the player’s loop or repeat control. On a computer, right-click the player and choose Loop; on Android, use Settings → Additional settings → Loop video. TV and console players have a Repeat control. First, the replay must exist: YouTube does not guarantee that every livestream will be archived.
Loop a completed livestream replay on a computer
- Open the livestream replay on its YouTube watch page.
- Right-click inside the video player.
- Select Loop. YouTube says the video will repeat continuously.
If the menu or label differs, check the current player controls; YouTube’s interface can change. YouTube’s instructions for looping videos and playlists describe the desktop control.
Loop the replay on Android
- Open the replay in the YouTube app.
- Tap Settings on the player.
- Tap Additional settings, then Loop video.
For a playlist, use the loop control in the playlist controls. Selecting it again can repeat only the current playlist video; the control is marked with “1.” See YouTube’s loop instructions if the controls have moved.
Repeat a replay on a TV or gaming console
- Start playing the replay and press down on the TV remote or game controller to show playback controls.
- Choose Repeat until the control indicates that the current video will repeat.
If you are watching a playlist instead, choose Repeat until it indicates that the playlist will repeat. The control labels and navigation can vary by device software. YouTube documents these playback options in its video and playlist loop guidance.

Loop several livestream replays in a playlist
If you want multiple VODs to play one after another and cycle, use a playlist rather than enabling repeat on one video. On a computer, open a video from the playlist, expand the playlist box, and select its Loop control. On Android, use the loop control in the playlist controls; on TV or console, select Repeat until it applies to the playlist. The playlist must contain the replays you want to watch.
Find out whether the livestream has a replay
When a livestream ends, its channel may make a replay or highlights available as videos. If you cannot find the broadcast on the channel, the creator may not have saved or published an archive. YouTube describes this distinction in its livestream replay FAQ.

For creators, YouTube says it can automatically archive a livestream that is shorter than 12 hours; that is not a guarantee that every such stream will be saved. A stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. YouTube recommends keeping a local recording as a backup. Creators can manage archives in YouTube Studio under Content → Live, including changing visibility or deleting an archive. Details are in YouTube’s archive live streams guidance.
Looping a replay is different from live DVR
Loop applies to an available video or playlist. DVR is a viewer control during an active livestream: it lets viewers pause and rewind, but it does not make the completed replay repeat. On very long streams DVR may be limited or unavailable, and viewers cannot seek to a point before the broadcast began. See YouTube’s livestream DVR guidance.

Creators may also use Live Redirect to send viewers to a Premiere or another livestream when a broadcast ends. That is an audience handoff, not a way to loop the ended stream’s archive; its settings are described in YouTube’s Live Redirect guidance.
