1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteTo loop one video in OBS, add it as a Media Source, open its properties, and enable Loop. OBS will replay the file when it reaches the end. The setting works the same in India as elsewhere; YouTube eligibility depends on the channel, not the OBS loop control.
Loop one video with OBS Media Source
- Open the OBS scene you want to broadcast. The scene is what OBS sends to YouTube Live.
- In the Sources dock, select +, then choose Media Source. If OBS asks whether to create a new source or use an existing one, choose the option that fits your setup.
- In the Media Source properties, select Local File and browse to the video file you want to play.
- Turn on Loop, then apply the properties. OBS documents Loop as off by default; when enabled, the file plays again after playback completes. OBS Media Sources
- Check the Sources list to make sure the source is visible; if needed, use its eye control. Confirm that the video appears in the OBS preview. OBS Sources Guide
For a single video, use the built-in Media Source and its Loop property. The OBS documentation describes that property as: “Specifies whether the file play again once playback has completed”.
Loop a playlist of videos instead
If you want several files to play in sequence, use OBS’s VLC Video source rather than adding a separate Media Source for each file. Add the files to its playlist and enable Loop Playlist to restart playback when the source runs out of media files. VLC must be installed for this source to appear; OBS notes that 64-bit OBS requires 64-bit VLC. OBS Media Sources
Use Media Source for a repeating single file; use VLC Video when you need an ordered playlist with its own loop control.

Connect OBS to YouTube Live
- In YouTube Studio, create or open the live stream and find its stream URL and stream key.
- In OBS, configure the stream connection with the YouTube server URL and stream key. YouTube’s encoder guidance says: “To start streaming, enter your YouTube Live server URL and stream key into your encoder.” Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder
- Start streaming from OBS, then check the incoming feed in YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room preview before going live to viewers. Streaming tips
OBS’s Quick Start Guide covers connecting an encoder and starting a stream: OBS Quick Start Guide.
Check YouTube eligibility in India
The OBS loop setting is local to the source; the cited OBS guidance does not specify a different procedure for India. YouTube’s live-streaming Help guidance says a channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the past 90 days. Eligibility is channel-specific, so check the channel’s current status in YouTube Studio before planning the broadcast. Get started with live streaming

Troubleshooting
- The video stops at the end. Reopen the Media Source properties and confirm Loop is enabled, then apply the change.
- The source does not appear in the preview. Check that the source is visible in the Sources list using its eye control, and confirm that the selected scene contains it. OBS Sources Guide
- VLC Video is missing. Install VLC; match its architecture to OBS. OBS specifically notes that 64-bit OBS requires 64-bit VLC. OBS Media Sources
- YouTube does not receive the stream. Check the server URL and stream key entered in OBS, then use the Live Control Room preview to inspect the incoming stream before going live. YouTube encoder guidance
- You cannot start a YouTube live stream. Check channel verification and current live-streaming eligibility in YouTube Studio; channel restrictions can prevent streaming even when OBS is configured correctly. YouTube live-streaming eligibility
