To restart a YouTube playlist from its first video, turn on Loop in YouTube’s player—not in PRISM Live Studio. On desktop, expand the playlist box and click Loop. On mobile, tap Loop in the Playlist controls. PRISM’s documented media-source settings do not control YouTube playlist repeat.
Loop the whole playlist in YouTube
The control you need is in YouTube’s player. It repeats the playlist after its last video, starting the playlist again, rather than repeating only the current video.
On desktop
- Open a video that belongs to the playlist.
- Expand the playlist box beside the video.
- Click Loop in the playlist box.
On a phone or tablet
- Play a video from the playlist.
- Open or use the Playlist control box under the video.
- Tap Loop to repeat the playlist.
On mobile, tapping Loop a second time switches to repeating only the current video; the loop icon shows a 1. Tap again to return to playlist repeat.
On a TV or game console
Select the playlist, open the playback controls, and select Repeat until the control displays Repeat • Playlist.

What PRISM Live Studio can—and cannot—do here
PRISM’s documented desktop Media Source workflow adds a local media file. Its Restart playback when source becomes active option applies to that local source; it is not documented as a control for repeating a playlist in YouTube.
PRISM Mobile’s Media Playlist feature lets you make and reorder playlists of videos and music in PRISM and seek within them. The documented guide does not describe importing a YouTube playlist or setting it to repeat. PRISM Desktop’s Browser source embeds live webpage content, but its guide does not explain how to control YouTube playlist repeat through PRISM. For a YouTube playlist, use the YouTube player’s Loop control.
