Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →To loop a prerecorded Hindi product demo on YouTube Live, use FFmpeg’s -stream_loop -1 input option, pace the file with -re, and send the encoded output to the RTMPS stream URL and key from YouTube Live Control Room. The language of the video does not change the loop method. This delivers a recording as a live encoder feed; it is not a live, camera-based product demonstration.
Prepare the demo and check the loop point
Use a finished video and audio track that you have the rights to stream. Check the transition from the end of the file back to its beginning: a repeated spoken introduction, abrupt audio change, or visible jump may be noticeable every time the file loops. A file loop does not make that transition seamless automatically.
Make a note of the source resolution and frame rate. Choose output settings that suit the file and YouTube’s current guidance; do not assume one bitrate or keyframe setting fits every source.
Get the YouTube encoder details
- Open YouTube Live Control Room and create or select the live event.
- Choose the encoder workflow and copy the stream URL and stream key shown for that event. YouTube explains the setup at Set up your encoder for live streaming.
- Treat the stream key like a password. Do not publish it in a script, screenshot, log, or article. Replace any exposed key in Live Control Room before using the encoder again.
YouTube recommends RTMPS, a secure extension to RTMP. Use the RTMPS endpoint supplied for your event when your FFmpeg build and configuration support it; follow YouTube’s current encoder guidance at Choose live encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Loop the file with FFmpeg
FFmpeg documents -stream_loop -1 as infinite looping. It is an input option, so put it before the -i for the file it should loop. The -re option reads an input at its native frame rate and can be useful when the output must be paced for live streaming. It is not a universal fix for malformed media or mismatched settings. See the FFmpeg documentation.
ffmpeg -re -stream_loop -1 -i "hindi-demo.mp4"
-c:v libx264 -preset veryfast -b:v 4500k -maxrate 4500k -bufsize 9000k
-pix_fmt yuv420p -g 60 -c:a aac -b:a 128k -ar 44100
-f flv "rtmps://INGEST_HOST/APP/STREAM_KEY"
This is an illustrative template, not a tested command or a guaranteed YouTube configuration. Replace the endpoint placeholder with the RTMPS stream URL and key from Live Control Room. Confirm that your installed FFmpeg build supports the selected encoder and options, and match the output resolution, frame rate, bitrate, and keyframe interval to the source and YouTube’s current settings for the chosen resolution.
The example’s -g 60 sets a GOP of 60 frames: that is a two-second interval only at 30 fps. At another frame rate, calculate the frame count for the intended interval. The 4500k video bitrate is only an example, not a general recommendation. YouTube recommends a two-second keyframe interval and says not to exceed four seconds; check its current resolution-specific bitrate table before choosing values.

When stream copy may be an option
The example re-encodes video and audio. Copying streams instead can avoid re-encoding, but whether that works depends on the source codecs, container, timestamps, and YouTube’s accepted configuration. The available guidance does not establish a universal best choice for every file. If you change the command to use stream copy, validate the output in a test event rather than assuming the file is compatible.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesStart the event and check the preview
- For a scheduled encoder stream, configure the event in Live Control Room and start FFmpeg with that event’s URL and key.
- Wait for the incoming feed to appear in the event preview. Check that the video is moving, the picture is correct, and the audio is audible.
- When the preview looks right, start the scheduled event in Live Control Room using the available go-live control.
- Monitor stream health and audio/video quality while the event is running. When finished, end the live event and stop FFmpeg as appropriate.
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That statement does not establish archive availability for longer streams.
Check YouTube settings and network capacity
YouTube’s encoder guidance covers RTMP/RTMPS, CBR, supported codecs including H.264, H.265/HEVC, and AV1, and frame rates up to 60 fps. It recommends two-second keyframes and says the interval should not exceed four seconds. Audio options for RTMP/RTMPS include AAC or MP3. For ordinary SDR video, the page lists Rec. 709 color space and stereo audio guidance; YouTube also notes that it transcodes the live stream for viewers. Verify the current settings and resolution-specific bitrate guidance on YouTube’s encoder settings page rather than treating the example command as authoritative.

Leave upload capacity above the total outgoing stream bitrate. YouTube’s streaming tips recommend 20% headroom over the total bitrate, including primary and backup streams where applicable. For example, calculate headroom from the combined bitrate if you are sending both feeds; do not count only the primary feed.
Test before going live and monitor the stream
- Run a private or unlisted test where appropriate, and check the Live Control Room preview before starting a public event.
- Test with audio and movement similar to the real program, as YouTube advises. Listen for clipping, silence, synchronization problems, and disruptive loop transitions.
- Check that the output remains accessible and that stream health does not show a connection or encoding problem.
- For a long event, decide who will monitor the stream and be able to respond if the encoder or connection stops.
Eligibility, rights, and prerecorded-stream limits
YouTube’s live-stream setup guidance says a channel must be verified and must not have had live-streaming restrictions in the past 90 days; its setup page also states a minimum age of 16 to live stream. Rules and wording can change, so check YouTube’s current live-streaming eligibility guidance before the event.

Troubleshoot common problems
FFmpeg stops after one play
Make sure -stream_loop -1 appears before the relevant -i. FFmpeg’s loop option applies to the input that follows it.
YouTube does not receive the feed
Check that you copied the stream URL and key for the same event, that the endpoint is RTMPS as configured, and that the key was not mistyped or replaced. Confirm that the network can reach the endpoint and that your FFmpeg build supports the output configuration.
The preview is black, frozen, or has no sound
Confirm that the source file plays locally and includes the expected video and audio streams. Inspect the FFmpeg output for errors, check the chosen codecs and pixel format, and make a test with a shorter segment before returning to the full loop.

The stream is rejected or reports poor health
Compare the output resolution, frame rate, bitrate, codec, and keyframe interval with YouTube’s current guidance for the selected resolution. Verify that the connection has the required upload headroom, including any backup stream. A single example bitrate cannot diagnose every source or network.
The loop sounds or looks abrupt
Revise the edit or choose a different in/out point, then test the transition again. FFmpeg repeats the input; it does not remove a jump or blend audio at the boundary by itself.
