Short answer: Cinema HD is not a normal app-store application for every Smart TV. Direct installation is only technically possible on an Android TV, Google TV, or Amazon Fire TV device that supports compatible APKs. Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Roku, and Apple TV do not normally install Android APK files. On those platforms, use casting, an external streaming device, or an official streaming app instead.
What Cinema HD is—and what it is not
Cinema HD is a third-party streaming application distributed as an Android APK. Online guides describe it as an on-demand movie and television app that aggregates links from external sources. It is not Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, or a licensed universal Smart TV application.
There is no clearly verifiable first-party Cinema HD developer channel in the available evidence. Different websites claim to be official and advertise conflicting versions, including 2.x, 3.x, and 4.x releases. Do not assume that a site using “official” in its name is authentic, safe, or authorized. This guide therefore does not provide a volatile download URL or Downloader code.
First, identify your TV’s operating system
The television brand alone is not enough. Sony, TCL, Hisense, Philips, Xiaomi, and other manufacturers sell models using different operating systems. Open Settings → About or look for the platform’s app store and home-screen branding.

Android TV and Google TV normally distribute applications through Google Play. An app that is not available there requires a separate sideloading process. See Google’s explanation of app distribution on Google TV.
Before installing: safety and legality
Sideloading is a technical installation method, not proof that an application or its streams are authorized. Copyright rules vary by country and depend on the source and the way content is accessed. A VPN does not make unauthorized streaming legal.
- Use an APK only when its developer identity, authenticity, and integrity can be independently established.
- Keep Google Play Protect enabled. Google says it checks apps installed outside Google Play and may warn about, disable, or remove harmful apps. Read the official Play Protect guidance.
- Do not enter Google, Amazon, payment, banking, or email credentials into an unverified third-party app.
- Be suspicious of requests for accessibility, contacts, SMS, microphone, camera, or device-administrator access.
- Do not disable security protections to force an installation. Treat a Play Protect warning as a reason to stop.
Claims that Cinema HD is “100% safe,” “virus-free,” or “100% legal” cannot be established from the conflicting third-party sources available for this app.
How to install Cinema HD on Android TV or Google TV
These steps describe the general Android TV process. Menu names vary by manufacturer and Android version.

- Confirm that the television or attached device runs Android TV or Google TV.
- Open the device’s official app store and install a reputable browser, downloader, or file manager that can retrieve and open an APK.
- When prompted, open the permission page for that specific utility. It is commonly under Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps.
- Allow installation only for the utility you selected. There is not always one universal “unknown sources” switch.
- Obtain the APK only from a source whose ownership and file integrity you can verify. Avoid “modded,” “premium unlocked,” or frequently redirected packages.
- Scan the file with available security tools and inspect its requested permissions before opening it.
- Open the APK and install it. Record the installed version and package name so that you can identify it later.
- After installation, return to the permission page and revoke the utility’s ability to install unknown apps.
- Delete the downloaded APK if you no longer need it, then run Play Protect.
An APK may install yet still be unusable. Some packages are designed for touch-screen phones rather than televisions and may have no TV launcher icon, poor remote navigation, unsupported codecs, or no compatible playback service.
How to install it on Fire TV or Fire TV Stick
Fire OS is based on Android technology but differs from Android TV in services and distribution. Amazon documents this process as sideloading, meaning installation outside the Amazon Appstore.
- Open Settings.
- Select My Fire TV or Device, depending on the Fire OS version.
- Open Developer Options.
- Enable Apps from Unknown Sources for the downloader or file utility you intend to use. Some versions show a per-app permission rather than a general switch.
- Install a downloader or file utility from the Amazon Appstore.
- Obtain a compatible APK from a verifiable source, scan it, and install it.
- Delete the downloaded installer file after use.
- Manage the app from Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications, where you can launch it, clear its data, or uninstall it.
Amazon’s documentation confirms the Fire TV sideloading mechanism, but it does not validate Cinema HD specifically. On Fire OS 8, APK signature compatibility also matters: apps signed only with the older v1 scheme cannot be installed or updated there. A successful installation still does not establish that an APK is safe, lawful, or maintained.

adb install <path-to-apk-file>
adb install -r <path-to-apk-file>The second command retains application data during a reinstall. Amazon’s technical references are available for Fire TV installation and ADB connection.
Samsung, LG, Roku, and other Smart TVs
Samsung Smart TV
Samsung televisions use Tizen, not Android, so an Android APK cannot normally be installed. Samsung’s developer documentation also says ordinary consumer TV applications cannot simply be installed through USB as package files. See Samsung’s application-installation FAQ.
Your realistic options are casting or screen mirroring, using an external Android TV or Fire TV device, or choosing an official application from Samsung’s store.
LG Smart TV
LG webOS is also not Android and does not run Android APKs. LG applications follow the webOS distribution model rather than the Android package model. Use screen mirroring, casting where supported, an external streaming device, or an app from the LG Content Store.

Roku TV and Apple TV
Roku does not provide a general Android APK installation path, and Apple TV cannot run Android APKs. Do not follow guides promising a “Roku APK.” Use an official Roku channel, supported casting, or another compatible device.
Casting versus using an external streaming device

Casting is not guaranteed. Cinema HD, the phone, and the television must support the same casting or mirroring method and usually be connected to the same network.

How to uninstall Cinema HD safely
- Open Settings.
- Choose Apps or Applications, then select Cinema HD.
- Choose Uninstall. If available, clear its data first.
- Delete the downloaded APK from the downloader or file manager.
- Revoke Install unknown apps permission from the utility used for installation.
- Run Play Protect and review other unfamiliar applications.
Legal alternatives
If your goal is free or low-cost, licensed streaming, check the official app store on your television for services such as Tubi, Pluto TV, Plex, and Amazon Freevee where available. Catalogues and availability vary by country. Built-in official apps are usually simpler and safer than adding an unverified APK to a Samsung or LG television.
Bottom line: Cinema HD can only be considered for direct installation on an Android TV, Google TV, or Fire TV device, and even there the APK’s authenticity, compatibility, safety, and legal status must be assessed separately. Samsung, LG, Roku, and Apple TV users should not try to install the APK directly.

Is Cinema HD available on Samsung Smart TVs?
