What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Start with MyJoyOnline’s Videos page. Check its programme playlists for Joy News Prime and Joy News Interactive, then follow the linked JoyNews or Joy Prime video destinations. Search using the documentary’s exact title; if you do not know it, use the subject, a distinctive person or place, and the approximate broadcast date. Also search YouTube for an official or clearly identified upload. These routes can locate some programmes, but there is no verified promise that every JoyPrime or JoyNews documentary is archived permanently or offered through a universal catch-up service.
Use the MyJoyOnline video library first
The most direct starting point is the MyJoyOnline Videos page: https://www.myjoyonline.com/media/videos/. The page groups material into programme playlists, including Joy News Prime and Joy News Interactive, and provides links to JoyNews channels and Joy Prime destinations.
That makes it a useful discovery hub rather than a guaranteed archive. The page demonstrates that video material is organised for online viewing, but it does not state that every documentary broadcast on JoyPrime or JoyNews is uploaded there, nor does it state how long any item remains available. Treat the page as your first search route, not as proof that a missing film was never published.
Search the exact title when you know it
- Open the MyJoyOnline Videos page.
- Enter the documentary’s full title in the page or channel search field, preserving distinctive words, names and spellings.
- Look through results in the Joy News Prime and Joy News Interactive programme areas.
- Open a result and check that it is the documentary itself rather than a studio discussion, trailer, headline report or short excerpt.
- Note the visible publication date and compare it with the broadcast date you remember.
Quotation marks are useful when you search from a general web search engine: try the title in quotation marks together with “MyJoyOnline” or the approximate air date. A quoted title can narrow results when a programme name is common, while the date can separate a documentary from later reports about the same subject.

When the title is unknown
Build the search from details you can remember. Try the subject, a distinctive person, a place featured in the film, and the approximate broadcast date. For example, a search can combine the programme name with a subject and year, then be narrowed after you identify a likely result. Suggested searches include:
JoyNews documentary [subject]JoyPrime documentary [subject]"[distinctive phrase or title]" MyJoyOnlineJoyNews [subject] [approximate month or year]
These are search formulations, not official labels. If your first query returns a related news story, take a distinctive name or location from that story and search again. A person’s name, a town, an institution or an unusual phrase usually produces a more precise result than a broad topic such as “Ghana documentary.”
Check the linked programme destinations
The Videos page links to JoyNews channels and Joy Prime destinations. Follow those links when the central page does not show the item immediately. Browse the relevant programme playlist and search within the channel using the same title, subject and date combinations. The presence of a playlist does not establish that it contains a complete historical run; it simply gives you another official-looking route to inspect.
Search YouTube for an official or clearly identified upload
Some documentaries are released online separately from a programme playlist. Search YouTube with the exact title, then with the title plus “JoyNews,” “JoyPrime” or “MyJoyOnline.” If you do not know the title, use the documentary’s subject and the approximate broadcast date.

One documented example is SAGA OVER RTI: Millions paid as penalty. A Corruption Watch release dated September 29, 2025 said that the full documentary was available on YouTube. That notice confirms that at least this documentary had a YouTube release at that time; it does not establish that every JoyPrime or JoyNews documentary receives the same treatment, or that the video remains online indefinitely.
How to distinguish a full film from a clip
Search results often mix a documentary with reports about it. Before you settle on a video, inspect the title, description, channel name and visible publication date. Look for wording that identifies the item as the full documentary, and compare the subject and people or places shown with what you remember from the broadcast.
A short news package may use the same subject and images but cover only one development. An interview, panel discussion or promotional trailer may mention the documentary without containing it. Do not assume that a long-looking result is the complete film: verify the content after opening it.
Assess the uploader
Give priority to an uploader that is the broadcaster, a named documentary publisher or an organisation clearly associated with the release. A third-party copy may be incomplete, mislabeled or removed later. The available evidence supports checking official or clearly identified YouTube uploads; it does not establish a universal official channel policy for all documentaries.

Compare the two starting routes
| Route | What it offers | What to check | Known limitation |
|---|---|---|---|
| MyJoyOnline Videos page and programme playlists | Programme-organised video material, including Joy News Prime and Joy News Interactive, with links to JoyNews and Joy Prime destinations. | Exact title, subject, programme playlist, visible date and whether the item is the complete documentary. | The page does not promise a complete or permanent documentary archive. |
| YouTube search | A separate route for finding a documentary released online; the September 29, 2025 Corruption Watch notice confirms one full documentary was available there. | Uploader identity, title and subject match, publication date and full-length status. | The example does not prove that all broadcasts are uploaded or that an upload remains available. |
The routes may produce different results. A video can appear in a programme playlist but not rank prominently in a general search, or it can be announced on YouTube without being easy to locate from a playlist. Check both before concluding that the documentary is unavailable.
Verify that you found the documentary you remember
Match the title and subject
Titles can be shortened, punctuated differently or presented with a subtitle. Compare the central subject, named people, locations and events with your memory of the broadcast. If only one word matches, keep searching; a related report is not necessarily the documentary.
Match the programme and date
Confirm whether the result is associated with Joy News Prime, Joy News Interactive, Joy Prime or another clearly identified publisher. Check the visible upload or publication date against the approximate air date. A later upload can still be the correct film, but the date should be recorded so you do not confuse a repeat, excerpt or follow-up report with the original programme.
Check for completeness
- Read the title and description for an explicit indication that it is the full documentary.
- Watch beyond the opening minutes to ensure the video is not a trailer or a news introduction leading to a separate report.
- Look for a continuous programme rather than several unrelated clips carrying the same subject.
- Compare the ending with what you remember; an abruptly cut conclusion can indicate an excerpt or an incomplete copy.
These checks do not guarantee that a video will stay online, but they reduce the chance of saving or sharing the wrong item.

If the first search fails, refine it systematically
Start with the strongest identifying detail
Use a rare name, location or phrase before trying a broad topic. Search the detail alone, then add “JoyNews,” “JoyPrime” or “MyJoyOnline.” If you know only the programme and month, combine those with the subject. Change one element at a time so you can tell which term improved the results.
Search both programme names
A documentary remembered as a JoyPrime broadcast may be listed under a JoyNews programme playlist, and a JoyNews item may be described by the specific programme name rather than the network name. Try both “JoyPrime documentary” and “JoyNews documentary,” then add the subject or date.
Try title variants
Remove punctuation, shorten a subtitle, and try singular and plural forms of key words. If the documentary title contains a person or place, search that name with the subject instead of relying on the complete title. Quotation marks are most helpful once you have a distinctive phrase; they can be too restrictive when your remembered wording is approximate.
Use dates as a filter, not as proof
An approximate broadcast date can locate a likely result, but a matching date alone does not prove that the item is the documentary. Check the programme, subject and completeness as well. Conversely, do not reject a plausible result solely because its online publication date differs from the broadcast date: a later upload may be a separate release.

What it means when no copy appears
Failure to find a video does not establish that the documentary was never broadcast or that it has been deleted. The reviewed video page does not promise complete coverage or permanent retention, and the available documentary example does not create a general catch-up policy. Search results can also change as titles are edited, channels reorganise playlists or videos become unavailable.
After checking both routes and refining the query, record what you know: the programme, approximate date, subject, people or places featured, and any distinctive wording. This information is more useful than a broad request for “an old documentary” if you need to ask the broadcaster for help.
Look for a current viewer-support route
If the documentary remains missing, use the current viewer-support or contact route displayed on the broadcaster’s official websites or channels. The available evidence does not identify a verified, permanent support URL, so do not rely on an old address found in an unrelated post. Include the details you recorded and ask whether an official replay or upload exists.
A response may confirm that the programme is not currently online, point you to a different official channel, or provide a current viewing route. Until you receive such confirmation, describe the item as “not found in the checked online listings,” not as permanently unavailable.
A practical search workflow
- Write down what you remember. Record the programme name, subject, distinctive names or places, approximate broadcast date and any words from the title.
- Open the MyJoyOnline Videos page. Inspect the Joy News Prime and Joy News Interactive playlists and follow the linked JoyNews or Joy Prime destinations.
- Search the exact title. Try the full title first, then title variants if punctuation or subtitles may differ.
- Search by subject. Replace the unknown title with a distinctive person, place, event or phrase and add the programme name.
- Check YouTube. Search the title or subject with “JoyNews,” “JoyPrime” or “MyJoyOnline.”
- Verify each candidate. Match the subject, programme, uploader, publication date and full-length status.
- Refine once more. Try the alternate programme name, remove overly broad terms, and use the approximate date only as an additional clue.
- Escalate with precise details. If no verified copy appears, use the broadcaster’s current official viewer-support route and provide the information from step one.
Quick checklist before you share a link
- The title or subject matches the documentary you intended to find.
- The video is associated with JoyNews, JoyPrime or a clearly named documentary publisher.
- The visible date makes sense for the broadcast or later online release.
- The video is the full documentary, not a segment, trailer, interview or follow-up report.
- You understand that current availability can change and that no permanent archive is guaranteed.
In short, begin with MyJoyOnline’s Videos page and its programme playlists, then search YouTube for an official or clearly identified upload. Use title, subject and date checks to verify the result, and contact the broadcaster through its current official support route when both searches fail. The evidence supports these as practical ways to look, not a promise that every JoyPrime or JoyNews documentary remains online.
