Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsTo show album art during a continuous YouTube music stream, make the artwork part of the video scene sent by your live-stream setup, then combine that scene with the music. The production setup is only one part of the job: before streaming Indian songs, confirm you have permission for the recordings and the underlying compositions and lyrics, and ask the relevant rights owners to allowlist your channel in Content ID. An encoder can provide more control over the scene, but neither it nor any other setup guarantees an uninterrupted 24/7 broadcast.
How the album art appears on a live stream
YouTube receives a video-and-audio stream. The album cover is therefore a visual in the outgoing video, while the song is the audio. Prepare artwork you are entitled to use and add it to the video scene your live production setup sends to YouTube. You can use a single image as the visual throughout, or prepare a scene that changes artwork along with a playlist; the exact steps depend on the encoder or production software you choose.
YouTube for Artists describes encoders as a way to get more customization and control than a simple mobile or webcam stream, but it does not prescribe album-art software or endorse a particular encoder. See YouTube for Artists for its live-stream guidance. Choose a setup that lets you compose the image and audio together, and test it before relying on it for a long broadcast.
Clear the music rights before building the playlist
Do not treat a visible album cover, a music licence, or a successful test stream as proof that every part of a playlist is cleared. For each track, identify the sound recording and the underlying musical composition and lyrics. Confirm who controls or represents the relevant rights, and get permission that covers the intended online live-stream use, territories, and any replay or archived copy.

Ask about Content ID allowlisting separately
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. If it identifies a match, it may replace the stream with a placeholder image, warn you, or interrupt or terminate the stream if the content remains. A stream archived after it ends may also receive a Content ID claim. These are distinct from a copyright strike or a contractual dispute about whether your permission covers the use.
YouTube’s guidance is explicit: “If you’ve licensed third-party content to use in your stream, ask the owner of the content to add your channel to their allowlist through Content ID.” A licence by itself may not prevent a live interruption if the channel has not been allowlisted. Coordinate with the label or distributor and the relevant rights owner before going live; see YouTube Help: Copyright issues with live streams.

Keep Indian copyright context in perspective
India’s Copyright Act defines “communication to the public” broadly, including making a work available to be heard or enjoyed by the public, and defines broadcast to include communication by wireless diffusion or wire. These definitions explain why streaming music publicly raises rights questions, but they do not identify the owners of a particular song or decide which permissions your channel needs. The Copyright Rules also describe statutory licensing procedures for broadcasts under section 31D, including notice and royalty provisions; their existence alone does not establish that a particular YouTube livestream is covered or clears every relevant right. For a specific Indian catalogue, get advice from the rights owners and an India-qualified music-rights professional. Consult the Copyright Rules and the Copyright Act.
Set up and test the stream
- Prepare the visual. Use album art or other imagery you are entitled to display. Build it into the video scene sent by your production setup; for a playlist, plan how the image will correspond to the current track.
- Choose a live production path. An encoder is an option when you need more customization and control over the outgoing scene. YouTube for Artists does not specify a particular application, device, or technical setting for this album-art workflow.
- Finish the rights record. For every track, record the sound recording and underlying works, the rights owner or authorized representative, the permission’s scope, its territories, and whether it covers replay or archiving. Ask the relevant owner about Content ID allowlisting for your channel.
- Run an unlisted test. Check that the artwork is visible, the music is audible, and the stream behaves as intended before a high-investment event. YouTube for Artists recommends testing an unlisted stream.
- Plan monitoring and recovery. A long-running broadcast needs someone or something to detect a failure and respond. The cited platform guidance does not set out a specific 24/7 uptime, power, network, or recovery design, so do not assume that a successful test means the stream will stay live continuously.
Plan for interruptions, not just launch
There is no guarantee in the cited YouTube guidance that a stream can run uninterrupted 24/7. Plan how you will notice a dropped connection or a rights-related interruption and how you will restart or otherwise respond. Keep your permissions and allowlist coordination in order before launch; a production tool cannot resolve a rights problem. YouTube may interrupt or terminate a stream after detecting third-party content, even when you believe you have permission, if the channel has not been allowlisted.

Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is a YouTube-only cloud service for looping uploaded videos or playlists as a 24/7 stream. Upload your recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; it streams your upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot, and automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly billing is $9.99 per month. You still need the appropriate rights and Content ID coordination for the music and imagery you use; a cloud service does not grant those rights or guarantee YouTube will accept a stream.

Troubleshoot common issues
- The image is missing or not the image you intended: Check that the artwork is included in the outgoing video scene, not merely saved alongside the audio files. Preview an unlisted stream before launch.
- YouTube shows a placeholder or interrupts the stream: YouTube may have matched third-party content. Contact the relevant rights owner about the use and ask them to allowlist your channel in Content ID if you are licensed. Do not assume a licence automatically prevents interruption.
- The live stream ends with a Content ID claim: YouTube says an archived stream may receive a claim after the live broadcast ends. Review the claim and your permissions; an archive claim is not the same outcome as a live interruption or a copyright strike.
- You cannot establish whether a song is cleared: Pause that track’s inclusion until you can identify the recording and underlying work rights, confirm the permission’s scope, and obtain guidance from the relevant rights owner or a qualified professional.
