For one stream, open Content → Live, select the stream, then choose Analytics → Revenue. Revenue is not a live counter: YouTube says it can take two days to appear. The navigation is not documented as different for India, and YouTube does not publish a universal India-specific RPM for continuous livestreams.
Check RPM for your channel
- Sign in to YouTube Studio.
- Choose Analytics from the left menu.
- Open the Revenue tab.
- Select the date range you want to review and find the RPM metric.
The Revenue tab is available to creators in the YouTube Partner Program. YouTube began a gradual Analytics interface update rollout in July 2026, so labels or placement may differ between accounts. The date and rollout information reflect YouTube’s current help guidance; see YouTube’s Analytics revenue report guidance.
Check RPM for one 24/7 livestream
- In YouTube Studio, open Content.
- Select the Live tab.
- Choose the stream or, if available, its archived live video.
- Open Analytics, then Revenue.
- Set a date range that covers the period you want to inspect.
If the Revenue report is missing while a Live-only content filter is selected, remove the filter or choose Live and on demand. Some revenue reports are unavailable with that Live-only filter, according to YouTube’s live metrics guidance. Reporting differs by view: YouTube also documents a Live filter for viewing ad-revenue breakdowns from live streams and replays. The filter behavior is therefore report-specific, not a guarantee that every Revenue view will work with Live-only selected. See YouTube’s livestream monetization guidance.
When earnings appear—and why estimates change
YouTube says it takes two days for revenue to show in Analytics. Estimated income may then be adjusted: an initial adjustment after about a week and another in the middle of the following month. Finalized earnings can differ from estimates and appear in AdSense for YouTube. Do not compare an early Studio estimate with finalized AdSense earnings as if they were the same snapshot. In the YouTube Studio Android app, open Analytics → Revenue to view channel revenue information, including RPM for live streams. Some Analytics reports are not available on mobile. If the individual stream’s Revenue report or the filter you need is missing, use YouTube Studio on a computer. YouTube’s Revenue report guidance covers report availability and metrics.

What RPM means for a 24/7 stream
RPM is your revenue per 1,000 views after YouTube’s revenue share. It can combine ads, YouTube Premium, channel memberships, Super Chat, and Super Stickers, and it includes views that did not generate revenue. CPM is different: it measures advertiser cost per 1,000 ad impressions before YouTube’s revenue share. RPM is therefore not an advertiser bid, and it is generally lower than CPM. RPM excludes most merchandise sales, sponsorships, and revenue from services or consulting. YouTube explains these metrics in its Analytics revenue report documentation.
A long broadcast does not guarantee continuous ad delivery or a predictable RPM. Eligible monetized livestreams can have pre-roll and mid-roll ads; mid-rolls may be automatic or manually scheduled. YouTube cautions that ad slots are not guaranteed to serve an ad. In a January 2024 platform-wide comparison across 207 countries, YouTube reported that automatic mid-rolls were associated with an average uplift of over 20% in instream ad revenue per hour. That figure is not India-specific and does not predict an individual stream’s RPM. See YouTube’s livestream monetization guidance.

How to compare RPM without drawing the wrong conclusion
- Compare date ranges of the same length, ideally for the same stream or channel.
- Look at views alongside revenue. Because RPM includes non-monetized views, it can fall even when revenue stays flat if unmonetized views rise.
- Keep RPM separate from CPM: one reflects creator revenue per view after revenue share; the other reflects advertiser cost per ad impression before revenue share.
- Check the revenue sources shown in the report—such as ads, Premium, Supers, or memberships—because RPM alone does not identify what caused a change.
- Note whether the report includes Live and on-demand traffic or uses a Live-only filter.
- Keep estimated Studio revenue separate from finalized AdSense earnings.
There is no official universal RPM benchmark for Indian 24/7 livestreams in the YouTube guidance cited here. India does not have a documented special RPM screen or different navigation; the reported value reflects the actual revenue and views in the selected account and period.
