To cancel a direct Sportsnet+ subscription, sign in at watch.sportsnet.ca, open your profile menu, select Account, then Billing, and choose Cancel Subscription. Complete the confirmation steps and save the email or screenshot showing that auto-renewal is off.
The World Series does not cancel Sportsnet+ automatically. Your deadline is the next billing or renewal date, and the correct cancellation route depends on the company charging you.

- Open watch.sportsnet.ca in a desktop browser.
- Sign in to the Sportsnet account being billed.
- Open the profile or account drop-down in the upper-right corner.
- Select Account, then Billing.
- Choose Cancel Subscription.
- Review the information and confirm using the displayed cancellation control, such as Cancel my subscription.
- Save the confirmation email and take a screenshot showing the cancellation status and end date.
Sportsnet’s labels may change slightly as the account page is updated. Look for the equivalent account, billing and cancellation controls. Its official cancellation instructions provide the current route.

Cancel through Apple, Google Play or Amazon
Apple
Open Settings, select your Apple ID or account area, open Subscriptions, choose Sportsnet+, and select Cancel Subscription. Menu names can vary by iOS version. If Sportsnet+ is not listed, check that you are using the Apple account used at signup.
Google Play
In the Sportsnet app, open the Watch section, tap the profile icon, choose Manage Subscription, and select Cancel Subscription. Finish the process in Google Play. If no subscription appears, check the Google account currently signed in to Google Play.
Amazon
On Amazon.ca, open My Account, select Memberships and Subscriptions, find Sportsnet+, choose Manage Subscription, open Actions, and select Turn off Autorenewal.

Cancel a Rogers, TELUS or Koodo subscription
Sportsnet+ says subscriptions purchased through select third-party providers, including Rogers, TELUS and Koodo, must be changed or cancelled through that provider. Sportsnet cannot directly turn off those subscriptions. Use the provider’s account or support channel and retain its confirmation.

What happens after you cancel?
- Monthly plan outside Quebec: Sportsnet+ says access normally continues until the end of the current paid billing cycle. The next month should not renew.
- Monthly plan in Quebec: Sportsnet+ says cancellation is effective immediately and the unused portion of the month is refunded.
- Annual plan: Cancellation generally turns off renewal for the next annual term. Access normally continues until the current renewal date, but Sportsnet+ says it does not provide a prorated refund for the unused annual period.
Find the relevant date under Account → Billing, in your original welcome or billing email, or in the subscription record of Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Rogers, TELUS or Koodo. A bank-statement date may not be the exact renewal date.
Cancel after the final World Series game if you still want to watch it, but do so before the next renewal date. Do not rely on a fixed calendar date: monthly billing is based on when the subscription began.
Refunds and separate purchases
For most monthly subscribers outside Quebec, ordinary cancellation stops future renewal rather than creating a prorated refund. Quebec monthly subscribers have the immediate-cancellation and unused-period refund treatment described above. Annual subscribers generally should not expect a refund for the remaining term.

A refund request for a duplicate charge, billing error, unauthorized transaction, outage or other exceptional service problem is separate from ordinary cancellation. Contact the company that billed you with the relevant receipt and cancellation evidence.
UFC pay-per-view purchases should also be treated separately. Cancelling the recurring Sportsnet+ subscription does not automatically reverse a separately purchased PPV.
If “Cancel Subscription” is missing
- Identify the billing source. Look for Apple, Google, Amazon, Rogers, TELUS or Koodo on the receipt or card statement.
- Check the login. Sign out and compare the Sportsnet account email with the email on the billing receipt.
- Use the website. If you are in the mobile app, try the desktop account page for a direct Sportsnet subscription.
- Check whether it is already cancelled. A future end date, “cancelled” status or auto-renewal-off message may replace the button.
- Check paused status. Sportsnet says a paused subscription can still be cancelled through Account → Billing → Cancel Subscription; see its paused-account instructions.
- Contact support if the page fails. Capture the error, record the account email and billing source, and submit a request through Sportsnet+ support.
Do not assume that deleting the app, removing a payment card or deleting your Sportsnet login has cancelled recurring billing. Only a confirmed cancellation through the responsible billing provider is reliable evidence.

Pause or cancel?
Choose cancel if you subscribed mainly for MLB or the World Series, do not know when you will return, or want the clearest protection against a future charge.
A pause may suit someone who expects to return for the NHL season. It is not cancellation: verify the pause duration, restart date and whether billing resumes automatically before choosing it. Sportsnet lists pause and account-management information in its account-management help section.
Final verification checklist
- Confirm that the account shows a future cancellation or end date.
- Save the confirmation email and a screenshot.
- Write down the billing provider and expected final access date.
- Check the next expected statement for an unwanted renewal.
- If you are charged after confirmed cancellation, contact the billing provider first and provide your evidence.
- Keep receipts, screenshots and support correspondence until the billing issue is resolved.
Sportsnet+ is a Canada-only service, according to its official FAQ. Its current MLB offering includes Blue Jays coverage and MLB postseason and World Series games, but postseason coverage ending does not end the subscription.
