CBS All Access is a legacy name now associated with Paramount+. If you subscribed through Roku, turn off auto-renewal in Roku’s subscription settings; deleting the app does not cancel billing. On your Roku, go to Home → highlight Paramount+ or the CBS-related channel → press Star (*) → Manage subscription → Turn off auto-renew, then confirm. This option appears only when Roku manages the subscription.
Cancel the subscription on your Roku
- Press Home on your Roku remote.
- Highlight the Paramount+ app or the CBS-related channel connected with the subscription. The current listing may no longer say CBS All Access.
- Press the remote’s Star (*) button.
- Select Manage subscription. Check the renewal date and the subscription details shown.
- Select Turn off auto-renew, then confirm. Some older interfaces may use different wording, such as Cancel subscription; the important step is to confirm that automatic renewal is off.
Roku’s subscription instructions say the menu shows the renewal date and available options. Note the final access or renewal date shown after cancellation. If Manage subscription is missing, Roku is generally not the billing manager; see how to identify the billing platform.
Cancel through your Roku account online
If you would rather use a phone or computer, sign in at my.roku.com with the Roku account linked to the subscription:
- Open Manage your subscriptions.
- Under Active subscriptions, find Paramount+ or the relevant CBS-related listing.
- Select Manage subscription.
- Select Turn off auto-renew and confirm.
Roku provides this web route for subscriptions billed and managed through Roku. Save the confirmation or take a screenshot of the updated status and date.

If Roku does not show the subscription
The device you use to watch does not necessarily determine who bills you. You can watch a Paramount+ subscription on a Roku even if you signed up directly with Paramount+ or through another marketplace. Cancel with the company that manages the payment:
- Roku-billed subscription: Cancel through the Roku device or your Roku account.
- Direct Paramount+ subscription: Sign in to Paramount+ and check its account or subscription settings.
- Amazon, Apple, or Google Play: Cancel in the subscriptions or membership settings of the marketplace where you subscribed.
- Paramount+ Premium Subscription through The Roku Channel: Check Roku’s subscription manager. A subscription purchased as a Premium Subscription on The Roku Channel is managed through Roku/The Roku Channel, not necessarily through the standalone Paramount+ account. Paramount’s cancellation guidance directs subscribers who purchased through another platform to cancel there.
For Roku billing, check both the device menu and Manage your subscriptions. Roku says a missing subscription can also mean you are signed into the wrong Roku account; households may have more than one. Confirm which account the device is linked to and check any other Roku accounts used in the household.

Your bank or card statement can offer another clue. Roku charges may appear as “Roku,” “Roku for [provider],” or “The Roku Channel.” Roku’s unrecognized-charge guidance also identifies “Roku for CBS Interactive” as a possible Paramount+ charge. Treat the wording as a clue, not proof: descriptors can vary by bank, country, and account history. Compare it with your subscription records or contact the named billing provider.

What cancellation changes—and what it does not
Turning off auto-renewal normally prevents the next Roku subscription charge while leaving access available until the end of the paid period. The date shown in your account is more useful than assuming access ends immediately. Provider-specific terms can differ, especially when another company bills you.

Removing the app is separate. Deleting Paramount+ or a CBS-related channel does not cancel the subscription. Roku advises turning off auto-renew before removing a channel; if it will not let you remove the app, check Manage subscription first. See Roku’s app-removal guidance.
Unlinking or removing a Roku device from your account is not a cancellation either. Cancel a Roku-managed subscription separately; Roku explains this in its device-removal guidance.

Do not count on a prorated refund. Roku’s general refund policy says subscriptions purchased and managed directly through Roku are prepaid and generally nonrefundable, including for a partially used term. If another company billed you, ask that company about its policy.

If you are still charged
- Confirm cancellation completed. Opening the menu or removing the app is not enough; verify that auto-renewal is off.
- Check the timing. A charge may have been processed before the cancellation took effect. Compare the charge date with the renewal date and cancellation confirmation.
- Review the Roku subscription status. Sign in at my.roku.com and inspect active subscriptions. Roku also provides guidance for checking purchase history and account charges.
- Check other Roku accounts. If the subscription is not listed, confirm you are using the account linked to the device and check other accounts in the household.
- Identify the actual billing party. Compare the statement descriptor with Roku, Paramount+, The Roku Channel, or another marketplace’s subscription records.
- Contact the company that billed you. If a Roku-managed subscription remains charged after the paid period ends, contact Roku Support with the charge date and account details.
