Cancel DAZN through whoever bills you—not necessarily through the DAZN app. Check your latest receipt or bank statement first: an Apple, Google Play, Amazon, or Roku subscription must generally be canceled with that provider; a direct DAZN subscription is canceled in your DAZN account. Then verify the cancellation and the date your access ends.
First, find out who bills your DAZN subscription
Look at the latest DAZN receipt, email invoice, or bank statement. The company shown as the merchant or invoice sender points to the place where you need to cancel. You can also check DAZN’s Payment History in My Account. If you pay with PayPal, check the transaction in PayPal too; PayPal may be only the payment method for a subscription billed directly by DAZN.
- DAZN receipt or DAZN payment history: Start with DAZN’s account controls.
- Apple receipt: Cancel through the Apple Account used to subscribe.
- Google Play receipt: Cancel through the Google Account used to subscribe.
- Amazon or Roku receipt: Cancel in that provider’s subscription controls.
- PayPal transaction: Check whether DAZN is the subscription provider or whether the charge is tied to a PayPal billing agreement. The payment method alone does not settle which cancellation route applies.
Watching DAZN on an iPhone, Android phone, or Fire TV does not by itself identify the billing provider. DAZN explains that third-party subscriptions must be managed with the provider that processes them: DAZN’s third-party cancellation guidance.
Cancel a subscription billed directly by DAZN
Use the DAZN app if it shows the cancellation controls, or sign in to DAZN in your phone’s browser. The exact wording can vary by country, account, and plan.

In the DAZN app
- Open DAZN and sign in to the account that receives the charges.
- Open the profile icon or menu, then tap My Account.
- Scroll to Cancel or open Subscription and choose Cancel subscription.
- Tap Continue, choose a reason, and follow the remaining prompts.
- If DAZN offers a reason to stay, choose No thanks if you still want to cancel. Enter your password if asked and complete the confirmation.
In a mobile browser
- Open DAZN’s website in your browser and sign in.
- Go to My Account → Subscription → Cancel subscription.
- Follow the prompts and confirm cancellation.
DAZN’s cancellation instructions describe the browser route and say a confirmation email is sent. Its PayPal help page describes an app flow that includes the profile menu, My Account, Cancel, a reason, and a password prompt. Labels and availability may differ by market or billing arrangement.
Cancel through Apple on an iPhone
If Apple bills you, cancel in Apple’s subscription settings. Deleting DAZN or signing out of the app does not cancel an Apple subscription.
- Open Settings on the iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top to open your Apple Account.
- Tap Subscriptions, then select DAZN.
- Tap Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, then confirm.
If DAZN is not listed, check that the phone is signed in to the Apple Account used for the purchase. Search your email for an Apple receipt and check Purchase History; another Apple Account or family member may have made the purchase. Cancel through Google Play on Android
Google Play subscriptions must be canceled in Google Play. Uninstalling DAZN does not stop Google Play billing.

- Open the Google Play Store and confirm the correct Google Account is selected.
- Tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Select DAZN, tap Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.
Google’s cancellation instructions include this route, and Google specifically warns that uninstalling an app does not cancel its subscription. If DAZN is missing, switch Google Accounts and look for a Google Play receipt in your email. If the receipt shows Google Play as the billing provider but the subscription is still not visible, contact Google Play. DAZN also describes cancellation through Google Play in its Google Play help article.
Cancel through Amazon, Roku, or another provider
Amazon
In a mobile browser, sign in to Amazon and open Memberships & Subscriptions. Find DAZN, choose Manage, then turn off auto-renewal or select the available unsubscribe option and confirm. Amazon’s menu wording may vary. Watching DAZN on a Fire TV device does not necessarily mean Amazon bills the subscription; use the receipt or subscription page to identify the provider.

Roku or another third party
If Roku or another service processes the payment, cancel through that provider’s subscription-management system. DAZN says it cannot cancel a third-party subscription for you; its regional help page names Apple, Google, Roku, and Amazon among examples. Provider lists and menu labels can vary by market.
If PayPal is involved
PayPal can be the payment method for a subscription billed directly by DAZN. In that case, cancel in DAZN’s My Account area rather than assuming that removing a payment method cancels the subscription. DAZN says it sends a DAZN cancellation email, but a separate PayPal email may not arrive. Verify the DAZN subscription status first; if charges continue, inspect PayPal’s automatic-payment or billing-agreement controls as well. See DAZN’s PayPal guidance.
What cancellation means for access and future charges
Canceling usually stops renewal; it does not necessarily end access immediately or refund time already paid. Check the end date shown by DAZN or the billing provider rather than treating continued access as proof that cancellation failed.

- Third-party subscriptions: Access commonly continues through the time already paid. Google Play says cancellation generally preserves access for the paid period.
- Direct monthly subscriptions: DAZN says some plans have a 30-day notice period. Depending on the plan and market, a final prorated charge may occur on the next scheduled billing date. This is not a universal rule for every DAZN subscription.
- Annual or installment plans: Cancellation may prevent renewal without ending the current contractual term or remaining scheduled payments. Check the plan terms shown in your account.
DAZN’s cancellation guidance describes monthly notice periods and annual-plan behavior. Its Canada-specific guidance gives examples including a Monthly Pass notice period and annual pay-over-time plans; those details should not be assumed to apply to every country or plan.

Do not assume cancellation automatically produces a refund. Cancellation and a refund request are separate. DAZN’s US terms say subscription fees already paid generally are not refunded, subject to the terms and applicable exceptions. If Apple or Google Play billed you, use that store’s refund process; for direct DAZN billing, contact DAZN support and check the terms for your country and plan. Confirm the cancellation worked
- Look for a cancellation confirmation email from DAZN or the billing provider.
- Reopen the same account’s subscription screen and check for a status such as Canceled or Expires on, rather than Renews on.
- Write down the displayed end date and save a screenshot of the status.
- For direct billing, check DAZN’s Payment History; for a third-party subscription, verify it on that provider’s page.
If you cannot find Cancel or another charge appears
There is no cancellation button
You may be signed into the wrong DAZN account, paying through a third party, or seeing a different interface for your plan or region. Try DAZN in a mobile browser, sign in with the email associated with the receipt, and check Payment History. Search your email for DAZN, Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, and PayPal receipts; cancel with the provider named on the relevant subscription.

You canceled but DAZN still works
Continued access can be normal until the paid-through date or the end of a plan’s notice period. Check the status and end date on the billing provider’s subscription screen.
A payment appeared after cancellation
Compare the transaction date and merchant with your cancellation confirmation and end date. The payment may have been processed before cancellation, relate to a direct plan’s notice period or an annual commitment, or belong to another DAZN account or a separate purchase. If the provider’s page shows the subscription is still renewing, contact that provider; if its status says canceled but the charge remains unexplained, contact the provider shown on the transaction with the receipt and confirmation details.
You changed from Android to iPhone, or the reverse
Your current phone does not change who owns the subscription. For example, a Google Play subscription remains managed through Google Play even if you now use an iPhone.
Would you rather pause than cancel?
DAZN says some monthly plans offer a pause option with a selectable resumption period. Availability depends on the plan and market, so treat pausing as an option only if it appears in your account. If you need to stop renewal, complete cancellation instead.
