Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteTo keep a Gujarati radio station on YouTube all day, create a YouTube Live broadcast in YouTube Studio and connect an encoder that sends the station’s audio together with a still image or looping visual. First clear the music rights for live streaming in the relevant territories; then choose a local computer workflow such as OBS or a hosted FFmpeg setup, or use a cloud service that loops uploaded videos. YouTube’s API documentation describes a 24/7 broadcast use case, but that does not guarantee uninterrupted uptime for any setup.
Before you go live: clear the music rights
Rights are a launch requirement, not a post-launch fix. YouTube’s live-stream terms require the broadcaster to have the necessary rights worldwide for the live content, including music licensing rights from artists, record labels, publishers and other royalty participants, and to satisfy applicable requirements in the territories where the stream is available. YouTube’s live-stream terms put the responsibility on the provider.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. If matching content remains after a warning, the stream may be interrupted or terminated. Even when a track is licensed, a rights holder may need to add the channel to its Content ID allowlist to prevent interruptions. Before launch, obtain written clearance for live streaming in the territories you intend to reach, confirm whether your rights also cover replays or archives, and ask relevant rights holders about allowlisting. The specific licensing route depends on your station’s jurisdiction and repertoire; there is no single route established here for every Gujarati station.
Choose how the station will stay on air
OBS on a station computer
OBS provides a graphical workflow for a station that can keep a computer running and have someone monitor it. Send the station’s audio into OBS and add a station-branded still image or a visual loop. This is a practical local option, but the broadcast depends on the computer, its power, the audio feed, and the internet connection staying available.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
FFmpeg on a VPS
A virtual private server (VPS) can run FFmpeg in the background and can be configured to restart after a failure. This approach suits a team comfortable with command-line administration and server monitoring. The restart behavior is an implementation choice, not a YouTube uptime guarantee; the station still needs a working audio source, visual signal, network path, and monitoring or alerts.
StreamNeo for uploaded-video loops

Create the YouTube Live broadcast
- Enable live streaming. If the channel has never streamed live, enable the feature first. YouTube says first-time activation may take up to 24 hours, so do not leave this step until the scheduled broadcast time.
- Open Live Control Room. In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live, then create a stream or schedule one in Live Control Room. Follow the current Studio prompts for the broadcast’s title, visibility, and schedule.
- Copy the connection details. In Studio, get the stream URL and stream key. In the encoder, select YouTube if it is supported; otherwise enter those details manually. Treat the stream key like a password: anyone who has it can send a broadcast to the channel. Do not publish it or include it in public screenshots.
- Build the audio-video signal. Route the station’s program audio into the encoder and pair it with a station-branded still image or looping visual. YouTube’s encoder instructions cover external hardware and describe mixers as one possible part of an advanced production setup. A mixer is not automatically necessary: if the station already has a ready-mixed output, check that source output and the encoder’s input before buying equipment.
- Start and verify the feed. Start the encoder and check its preview and live status in Studio. For a scheduled broadcast, wait for the preview and select Go live as instructed by YouTube. Confirm that both the audio and visual are reaching the preview.
- Monitor the broadcast. Keep an eye on the station feed, connection, and rights status while the stream is running. A successful preview confirms the signal at that moment; it does not guarantee uninterrupted operation for the rest of the day.
Plan the broadcast length and replay
YouTube’s encoder instructions say streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not count on a single broadcast longer than 12 hours being archived. If listeners need a replay, divide the schedule into shorter program blocks or record a separate copy, and verify the current Studio behavior for your setup.
YouTube’s live-start guide states a limit of 10 active streams per channel and three per stream key. A single radio station will rarely need that many, but the limits matter if you operate multiple simultaneous feeds.

Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is for playing uploaded videos as a continuous YouTube stream; it does not take a live camera feed or broadcast to other platforms. Upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. The cloud keeps the loop running, so no computer at home or at the station has to stay on. Your upload streams as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot; there is no re-encode or quality tier. StreamNeo can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card required, one free day per account. Monthly access is $9.99 per month. UPI and cards are accepted in India; card checkout is available worldwide. This is a fit for prerecorded programs and playlists, not a substitute for feeding a live radio mixer directly into YouTube. Start the free day on StreamNeo.

Troubleshoot common interruptions
Studio has no preview
- Check the stream key and URL: make sure the encoder is using the current details from the intended YouTube channel and that the key has not been changed.
- Check the encoder input: confirm it is receiving the station’s audio and a visual source, rather than an empty or disconnected input.
- Check first-time activation: if live streaming was just enabled on the channel, activation may take up to 24 hours.
Audio or video is missing
- No audio: trace the station output into the encoder, then check that the correct input is selected and that its level is not muted.
- No visual: add a still image or loop alongside the audio; a radio program still needs an audio-video signal for this workflow.
- Unbalanced or combined sources: use a mixer only if you need to combine or adjust microphones and other feeds before encoding. It does not replace the encoder.
The stream is interrupted after starting
- Connection or source failure: check the outgoing connection and whether the audio source is still reaching the encoder. A local computer and a VPS both require monitoring and recovery planning.
- Third-party content warning: investigate the matched content, confirm the applicable live-stream rights, and contact rights holders about Content ID allowlisting where music is licensed.
- Replay is missing: check whether the broadcast exceeded 12 hours; YouTube’s stated automatic archive case is streams under 12 hours.
