To keep an album cover on screen while Indian music plays continuously, make a video feed that pairs the still artwork with your audio, then send it to a YouTube Live event using an encoder. You can do this with encoder software on a computer or with a standalone hardware encoder. The artwork remains static; the encoder still sends a video stream.
Before setting up a continuous broadcast, confirm that YouTube Live is enabled for your channel and that you have the rights to broadcast both the music and the cover art. YouTube scans live streams for third-party content, and a license alone may not prevent an interruption if the rights owner has not allowlisted your channel.
What you need before you start
- A channel with livestream access. YouTube requires a verified channel without live-streaming restrictions in the prior 90 days. First-time livestream activation may take up to 24 hours, so enable it before your intended start time. YouTube Help: Get started with live streaming
- Rights for the music and artwork. Permission for a song does not automatically grant permission to use its album cover, and permission for artwork does not grant music rights. Confirm that your permissions cover live broadcast, the relevant territories, and any archived replay.
- An encoder. This can be software or standalone hardware. YouTube describes an encoder as a program or device that converts video into a digital format for streaming; it does not prescribe a specific device for a still-image broadcast. YouTube Help: Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder
- Audio files and an image file that you are authorized to use, plus a stable setup capable of running for the duration you intend to broadcast.
Set up the static-cover stream
- Clear the music and artwork. Get permission from the relevant rights holders or use material that is in the public domain. YouTube says music is safe to use when it is public domain or you have permission from its copyright owner; a “free” label by itself does not prevent a Content ID flag. YouTube Help: Tips to find safe music
- Enable livestreaming on the channel. In YouTube Studio, start the live-stream setup and complete any required channel verification. If this is your first time enabling livestreams, allow up to 24 hours for access to become available. Check that the channel has not had live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days.
- Make a video composition. Add the authorized album-cover image to the encoder’s video canvas and add the authorized music as its audio. Set the image to remain visible while the audio plays. The exact steps depend on your encoder; YouTube’s cited guidance does not specify image dimensions or a particular still-image composition method. Keep the image and sound in the same video output so the encoder can send both to YouTube.
- Create or schedule an encoder stream. In YouTube Studio, choose the option to create or schedule a stream using an encoder. Open the event’s stream settings and copy the stream URL and stream key into the matching streaming settings in your encoder. YouTube describes the stream key as the value used by the encoder to send a feed that YouTube can accept. Treat it like a password: do not publish it, and reset it if it is exposed. YouTube Help: Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder
- Preview before going live. Start the encoder feed and check the YouTube Studio preview. Confirm the cover is visible, the music is audible, and the correct event is receiving the feed. YouTube recommends previewing and monitoring encoder streams. YouTube Help: Live streaming tips
- Start the broadcast and monitor it. Go live from the event when the preview is ready. For a 24/7 schedule, the encoder or streaming service must keep sending the feed; plan how you will monitor the event and respond if the stream stops or YouTube raises a copyright issue.
Copyright and 24/7 continuity
Clear both the audio and the visual
YouTube’s livestream terms make the provider responsible for having all necessary rights to exploit live content on Google services worldwide, including music rights involving artists, record labels, publishers, and other royalty participants. That responsibility applies to the content in the stream, so check the cover image separately from the songs. YouTube Terms of Service
Why a licensed stream can still be interrupted
YouTube scans all live streams for matches to third-party content. If it detects a match, it may replace the stream with a placeholder image, temporarily interrupt it, or terminate it if the issue remains. YouTube also warns that a channel with a license may still be interrupted if the rights owner has not added the channel to its Content ID allowlist. Ask the rights owner about allowlisting before relying on licensed music for an uninterrupted broadcast. YouTube Help: Copyright issues with live streams

- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
A live broadcast can also receive a Content ID claim after it ends if an archived copy remains available. Confirm that your rights cover the archive as well as the live transmission, or choose archive settings that match the permissions you have.
Keep the stream running
A 24/7 schedule requires an encoder or service that continues sending the video feed. With a local software encoder, the computer and its network connection need to remain available. A standalone hardware encoder is another option, but YouTube’s guidance does not establish a preferred model, minimum computer specification, or guaranteed recovery method. Choose the setup you can operate and monitor reliably.

YouTube’s live Content ID matching policy is a specialized feature for qualifying Content Manager partners. Its requirements include worldwide rights and exclusive ownership, and it excludes streams containing third-party content such as static images or background music. It is not a general feature for ordinary creators; most channels should focus on obtaining permissions and resolving claims with the rights owner. YouTube Help: Copyright issues with live streams
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Likely cause | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| No preview appears in YouTube Studio | The encoder has not connected to the event, or the stream URL or key is incorrect. | Confirm that the encoder is using the URL and key from the intended event. If the key may have been exposed, replace it and update the encoder. |
| The cover appears, but there is no music | The encoder is not receiving the intended audio source, or its audio is muted. | Check the selected audio input and encoder audio controls, then listen to the YouTube preview before going live. |
| The stream shows a placeholder, pauses, or ends | YouTube may have detected third-party content, or the rights holder may not have allowlisted the channel. | Review YouTube Studio notifications and contact the rights owner to confirm that the channel is allowlisted and the permission covers the broadcast. |
| A claim appears after the broadcast | The archived live stream may have matched copyrighted content. | Check whether your music and artwork permissions cover the archived copy, then follow YouTube’s claim process if you have the necessary rights. |
| The stream stops during a long broadcast | The encoder, computer, hardware, service, or network may have stopped sending the feed. | Check whether the encoder is still running and whether YouTube Studio shows the event as receiving a signal. Plan a monitoring and restart process; the cited YouTube guidance does not promise a particular automatic recovery configuration. |
