Global TV supports selected Samsung Smart TVs and LG Smart TVs, including LG webOS televisions. Availability can depend on the television model, operating system, region, and current app-store listing.
- Open the Samsung app store or LG Content Store on the TV.
- Search for Global TV and install the official app.

- Additional networks and live television
- The closest regional live stream
- Older episodes and a larger on-demand catalogue
- Programming included only in a particular provider package

Global TV activation problems and fixes
The activation code is rejected
- Check that you are using watch.globaltv.com/activate, rather than a similarly named website or an unofficial IPTV service.
- Re-enter the code carefully. Avoid adding spaces or confusing similar characters.
- Make sure the code on the TV is still the current one. The app may have generated a replacement code.
- Close and reopen the activation screen on the TV, then submit the new code.
- Update the Global TV app and restart the streaming device if the same problem continues.
Global does not publish one universal code-expiration time in the referenced help material, so do not rely on a fixed number of minutes. Treat a changed or rejected code as potentially expired and restart the activation flow.
My TV provider is not listed
Not every television provider participates in Global TV authentication. Confirm that you selected the correct country or provider option, then check Global’s current provider information or contact the provider. The app opens, but live channels or premium shows are locked
This usually means either that you have not completed provider authentication or that the relevant network is not included in your provider package. Sign out and repeat the provider-login process. If you are already authenticated, ask the provider whether your subscription includes that channel or programme.
Global TV will not work outside Canada
Global states that streaming through its website and app is available only in Canada. Do not treat a VPN or proxy as an authorized activation solution. Proxy tools and browser extensions can also make someone who is physically in Canada appear to be outside the country, causing playback or sign-in problems.

Global’s first-party help pages do not give one consistent duration: one FAQ refers to 90 days, while a mobile FAQ refers to 120 days. Sign-in persistence is therefore not permanent and may vary by app version or platform.
