Patrick Mahomes has extended his NFL profile into documentary production through 2PM Productions, the media company he created. Its documented sports-series credits include Quarterback, where Mahomes is both a featured subject and an executive producer, and The Kingdom, a six-part Kansas City Chiefs series made with 2PM among several production partners. Launched in 2023, the first season of Netflix’s Quarterback has eight episodes following Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins and Marcus Mariota through the 2022 NFL season. Netflix identifies NFL Films, Omaha Productions and 2PM Productions as production partners. Mahomes appears as one of the quarterbacks followed and is also credited as an executive producer.

The distinction matters: Mahomes is not simply a producer observing a story from outside it, nor is the series solely about him. It follows three quarterbacks through a season, combining his personal access and perspective with those of Cousins and Mariota. Netflix’s series overview describes the show and its production.
The Kingdom: a broader look at the Chiefs
The Kingdom widens the lens from individual quarterbacks to the Kansas City Chiefs franchise. The six-part ESPN Original Series was filmed across the 2024 season and explores the team’s past, present and future impact on the NFL. The Chiefs announced the project in May 2025 and named Words + Pictures, Skydance Sports, NFL Films, 2PM Productions and Foolish Club Studios as production companies.

Here, the documented credit is specific: 2PM is one partner in a larger production group. The available announcement does not identify Mahomes as an executive producer of this series. At the Disney Upfront, Mahomes described the access as “unfiltered” and said the series would show the team, its city and what it takes to be a Chief. The Chiefs’ announcement gives the series’ format, production credits and filming context.

The documented credits here establish two Mahomes-linked series: Quarterback and The Kingdom. A third title is not established by the cited announcements, so it would be misleading to present a three-project list without identifying and verifying another credit. The two confirmed projects are enough to show how Mahomes’s sports profile has expanded into production: 2PM participates in unscripted storytelling while he contributes both as an on-screen subject and, in Quarterback, an executive producer.
