Crave starts at C$11.99 per month plus tax for Standard With Ads. Premium is about C$22 per month before tax, though Apple and TV-provider billing can show different prices or packages.

Standard With Ads vs. Premium
On Bell’s current plan page, Standard With Ads costs C$11.99 per month plus tax and includes two simultaneous streams, video up to 1080p, downloads and live channels. It includes advertising, and some titles are unavailable on this tier because of licensing restrictions. Bell also lists device exclusions for this plan, including Roku, AirPlay, PS4, PS5 and select platforms. Check compatibility against the device you actually use before subscribing.

That does not mean every item is ad-free: Bell says live events, sports and news contain ads, and Crave plans can include promotional spots for Crave programming.

Bell’s pages do not use plan labels and specifications consistently: one page calls the lower tier “Standard With Ads,” while another calls it “Basic with Ads” and describes one stream and up to 720p. Treat the checkout page for your specific provider and subscription as authoritative; confirm the exact plan name, streams, resolution and supported devices before paying.
What can you watch?
Bell describes Crave as offering programming from Crave, HBO, Max and Showtime, as well as Hollywood movies, French-language content and Crave Originals. The broad library is associated with both principal tiers, but the ad-supported plan has licensing-related exclusions. A brand or channel’s presence does not guarantee that every title is available, on demand, or included on every plan.

Is an annual plan cheaper?
Apple’s Canadian App Store lists Premium at C$219.99 per year as well as C$21.99 per month. Paying the monthly Apple price for 12 months would total C$263.88, so the listed annual option is C$43.89 less before any applicable tax. This annual price is specifically an Apple-listed option; do not assume direct Crave checkout or every TV provider offers the same annual billing. Check the renewal price and billing period shown at purchase, especially when an introductory promotion is involved.
At Bell’s listed monthly rates, twelve months would cost C$143.88 for Standard With Ads or C$264 for Premium, before tax. Those are calculations from monthly prices, not separate annual-plan offers.

STARZ and TV-provider packages
STARZ package prices vary by seller. Apple lists Standard With Ads plus STARZ for C$18.99 per month and Premium plus STARZ for C$28.99 per month. Rogers lists Premium with STARZ at C$26 per month and a C$28.95-per-month Movies Pack that includes Crave Premium, STARZ and U.S. superstations. Rogers’ page also displays a two-month offer on the package viewed; promotions can change, so confirm the offer and subsequent price on the provider’s current page.
Rogers’ provider-based TV route requires Rogers Xfinity TV; its page also describes using the Crave app to access programming included with the subscription. Bell offers Crave through Bell Mobility billing. Provider billing can be convenient if you already have the qualifying service, but compare the total package cost and requirements rather than adding a TV or communications service solely to get Crave.

Which plan makes sense?
- Choose Standard With Ads if the lowest listed monthly price matters most, ads are acceptable, 1080p is sufficient and your devices are supported. Its price is C$11.99 per month plus tax on Bell’s page.
- Choose Premium if you need four streams, want up to 4K, or prefer an ad-free experience for the specified on-demand entertainment. Compare Bell’s C$22 monthly price with Apple’s C$21.99 monthly or C$219.99 annual listing.
- Compare STARZ packages if you want the add-on: Apple and Rogers list different prices and package terms.
- Check provider packages if you already have Bell Mobility or Rogers TV and value consolidated billing or a current promotion. Confirm eligibility and the post-promotion rate.
- Verify device support first if you watch on Roku or use AirPlay, PS4 or PS5; Bell lists these among the exclusions for its ad-supported plan.
Before subscribing
- Check whether the displayed amount is monthly or annual and whether it is an introductory price.
- Look for applicable taxes and the total charged at checkout; there is no single Canada-wide after-tax amount.
- Confirm the billing seller—Crave, Apple, Bell or a TV provider—because prices and package options differ.
- Review the precise plan name and entitlements, since Bell’s pages use different labels and configurations for the ad tier.
- Crave is listed as available only in Canada on the Canadian App Store page. That does not establish whether or how a subscription works while travelling, so check Crave’s current terms for travel details.
