Crave costs C$11.99 per month plus tax for Standard With Ads. Premium is about C$22 per month plus tax when billed by Bell; Apple’s Canadian App Store lists Premium at C$21.99. Your final charge can differ by province, app store, telecom provider or promotion.

What Standard With Ads includes
Standard With Ads is the least expensive standalone option. Bell says downloaded content cannot be watched offline on this tier, and some titles are unavailable on ad-supported plans because of licensing restrictions (Bell plan details; Bell feature information).
The current material does not establish a universal stream limit or maximum resolution for this plan. Confirm those specifications in the live checkout or current terms at Crave’s subscription page.

What Premium includes
Premium costs roughly C$10 more per month before tax than Standard With Ads. It is the appropriate tier if you want the higher-end feature set, including downloads where permitted by the current terms, and fewer ordinary on-demand interruptions. Do not interpret “ad-free” as “no advertising anywhere”: Bell states that live events, sports and news contain ads on all Crave plans (Bell streaming information).
Bell’s current pages do not provide a single, plan-wide statement here for Premium’s simultaneous streams or maximum video quality. Verify those details at checkout rather than relying on older articles.

Why your after-tax price varies
The advertised C$11.99 and approximately C$22 figures are generally before sales tax. GST, HST, PST or QST depends on your province or territory. Apple, Google, Amazon, Bell and other billing partners may calculate or display tax differently, so there is no one accurate after-tax total for every Canadian customer.

Can Bell make Crave cheaper?
Sometimes. Bell’s Mobility offer describes an C$11.99 monthly Crave credit; with Premium, Bell lists a regular C$22 price and says the customer pays the difference (Bell Crave Mobile offer).

Compare the total Bell bill with paying C$11.99 directly. Upgrading telecom service solely for Crave is rarely worthwhile unless you already need that service.
Crave through Prime Video or Apple
Prime Video
Crave Standard With Ads became available as a Prime Video channel subscription in Canada on October 1, 2025 (Bell Media announcement). Amazon controls the subscription billing and cancellation, and its checkout price should be compared with direct Crave pricing. Do not assume a Prime Video subscription transfers automatically to a direct Crave account or has identical features.

Apple’s Canadian App Store lists Standard With Ads at C$11.99 and Premium at C$21.99 (App Store listing). Apple handles recurring billing and cancellation for subscriptions started there.

Older articles may mention “Basic With Ads” or “Mobile.” Bell’s pages use inconsistent legacy terminology, so rely on the plan names and prices shown at the current checkout rather than historical listings.
What a standalone Crave subscription does not automatically include
Crave is not automatically STARZ, Super Channel, every Bell TV channel or every sports package. Bell TV-provider packages can list Crave alongside separate add-ons such as STARZ and Super Channel (Bell TV-provider information). Those packages can have different channel access, device support and account-linking rules.

How to avoid an unwanted renewal
Cancel through the company that bills you: Crave for a direct subscription, Apple for an App Store subscription, Amazon for a Prime Video channel, or Bell for Bell-billed access. Removing the Crave app does not cancel a recurring subscription. Keep the cancellation confirmation and check the next statement.

Bottom line
Budget C$11.99 plus tax per month for Crave Standard With Ads or about C$22 plus tax for Premium (C$21.99 through Apple). Standard With Ads saves money but has ads, no offline downloads and possible licensing restrictions. Premium costs more and can still carry advertising in live sports, news and events. Bell credits and bundles can lower the incremental price only when you already qualify, while partner billing may change the final price and cancellation process.
