Hazbin Hotel creator Vivienne Medrano’s reported answer is that Rosie’s power will be explained in season 3. The comments do not yet reveal how she got that power, what its limits are, or whether it comes from her deal with Alastor.
What did Vivienne Medrano say about Rosie’s power?
In a report republished by Headtopics and attributed to Polygon, Medrano answered the question, “How is she that powerful?” by saying: “The answer could be many things, but the answer is in season 3. I’m very excited for people to see it.” Read the reported quotation.
This is a promise of a future story reveal, not an explanation of the mechanism. The available reporting does not specify the source or limits of Rosie’s power. The quoted wording is attributed to Medrano through secondary coverage; a primary transcript or recording has not been verified.
What does the Rosie–Alastor deal have to do with it?
Medrano reportedly described Rosie and Alastor’s deal as “the first stepping stone in a much bigger story” that continues into season 3. A separate Mandatory report says she connected Alastor’s seven-year absence and the characters’ deals to a larger narrative. Read Mandatory’s report.
