A kindergarten teacher’s home
The second opening project is a home belonging to a kindergarten teacher. The episode listing names the teacher as a surprise recipient of renovation work, but the sources available for this article do not supply further detail about the house or its scope.
How big the season was meant to be
The Warner Bros. Discovery press release announcing the season says it would tackle more than a dozen projects around Sebring. Those projects span three kinds of places: homes, local businesses, and public spaces. The shop and the teacher’s home are therefore two projects among that larger list, not the whole season.

The same release gives an audience figure of “more than 14 million viewers.” That number is the company’s own report. It is not an independent measurement, and the release does not establish the measurement period or method, so it should be read as a claim by the network rather than verified viewing data.
The town before the cameras
Axios’s March 4, 2025 preview describes Sebring as a lakeside community of about 11,000 people. That population figure is Axios’s description, not a new official count. In the same preview, Ben Napier explains the town’s assets: “You have a lake, you have a race track, you have a park that is a circle in the center of town.” The park he mentions is Circle Park, which a later visit also refers to.

What happened after the show aired
Axios reporters visited Sebring after the episode aired and published their observations on May 2, 2025. The visit recorded patrons ordering root beer and cream-soda floats at the soda shop and people using Circle Park’s amenities. Those are observations from a single visit on a single date. They describe that visit only and do not show how the shop or the town performed over the following months.
The same Axios report asks whether the attention the show brought to Sebring will be sustainable. That is an open question in the reporting, not a finding. The sources do not establish lasting economic growth in the town, and they do not show that the show caused any change in local business activity.
