Grosses for the first four films and the lead/lead-ensemble entries are from The Numbers’ Clooney profile. The Ocean’s franchise figures, including Ocean’s Thirteen and Ocean’s 8, are listed on The Numbers’ franchise page. The profile categorizes credits separately, so including a supporting appearance such as Ocean’s 8 does not make this a complete ranking of every Clooney credit.
What the ranking does—and does not—measure
Worldwide theatrical gross, not personal earnings
These totals represent reported worldwide box-office revenue in nominal dollars. They are not adjusted for inflation and do not indicate how much Clooney personally earned, a film’s profit, or its home-video and streaming revenue.

Why other lists may differ
“Clooney movie” can mean a lead role, a lead-ensemble credit, a supporting appearance, or narration. The Numbers lists these categories separately rather than publishing one unified, explicitly complete all-appearances ranking. A list limited to lead and lead-ensemble titles therefore answers a narrower question than one counting every appearance.
Database lifetime totals can change. For a fair comparison, use worldwide figures from one database and a stated cutoff rather than mixing domestic totals, worldwide totals, or figures with different re-release treatment. Box Office Mojo, for example, labels its lifetime chart with a data-as-of marker; its figures should not be combined casually with totals from another source.

How the Ocean’s films compare

| Ocean’s Thirteen | 2007 | $311,744,465 |
| Ocean’s 8 | 2018 | $297,718,711 |
These are franchise-page worldwide totals from The Numbers, accessed October 8, 2026. For Ocean’s Eleven, the same source reports $183,417,150 domestic and $267,311,379 international, which together equal its $450,728,529 worldwide gross.
