What is Highest 2 Lowest about?
Denzel Washington plays a music mogul who is targeted by a ransom plot and faces a life-or-death moral dilemma. Apple describes his character as widely known for having “the best ears in the business.”
The film reimagines Akira Kurosawa’s crime thriller High and Low in modern-day New York City. Apple describes it as a reunion between Lee and Washington, their fifth collaboration. Jeffrey Wright and A$AP Rocky are also among the stars.
