Why does it have “Indiana Jones energy”?
The comparison points to the film’s globe-trotting historical treasure hunt, not a connection to the Indiana Jones franchise. The Associated Press characterized the movie this way: “The spirit of Indiana Jones is baked into the essence of the new movie ‘Fountain of Youth.’” The available sources establish a tonal comparison, not shared characters, story, or franchise rights.
AP describes the film as a lighthearted global heist and reports that production moved among Bangkok, Liverpool, the Austrian National Library in Vienna, and Cairo, with action sequences filmed at the pyramids. These are production details reported by AP, rather than details from Apple’s synopsis.
