Pluribus is the headline arrival on Apple’s November 2025 schedule, but it is only one part of a varied month that also includes the second season of Palm Royale, the documentary Come See Me in the Good Light, the holiday sequel The Family Plan 2, and the final season of WondLa. Apple is also adding a new Prehistoric Planet series focused on the Ice Age—and an eight-part narrative podcast, Adrift, through Apple Podcasts.
Most of the scripted series are weekly releases rather than full-season drops, so the calendar matters. Here is what is new and what continues during November 2025.
November 7: Pluribus
Vince Gilligan, the creator and executive producer behind Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, returns with Pluribus, a science-fiction drama starring Rhea Seehorn.
Apple’s premise is deliberately strange: the most miserable person in the world must save the world from happiness. That makes Pluribus the month’s clearest prestige-genre premiere, combining an unusually high-concept setup with a lead actor known for grounded, emotionally precise performances.

The nine-episode season begins with two episodes on Friday, November 7. After that, Apple releases one episode each Friday:
- November 7: Episodes 1 and 2
- November 14: Episode 3
- November 21: Episode 4
- November 28: Episode 5
- December 5: Episode 6
- December 12: Episode 7
- December 19: Episode 8
- December 26: Episode 9
In other words, the November 7 premiere does not make the complete season available. Viewers who start the show in November will still be following it into the end of December.
November 10: Adrift arrives as an Apple Original podcast
Adrift is not a television series or film. It is an eight-episode Apple Original podcast produced by Blanchard House and hosted by journalist Becky Milligan.
The series tells the true story of the Robertson family, whose attempt to sail around the world turned into a survival ordeal in the Pacific Ocean. It is a natural fit for listeners who enjoy documentary storytelling, maritime survival accounts, and heavily reported narrative podcasts.

November 12: Palm Royale season 2
Kristen Wiig returns as Maxine in the second season of Palm Royale, Apple’s glossy period comedy-drama set amid Palm Beach high society. The 10-episode season begins on Wednesday, November 12, with one new episode each Wednesday through January 14, 2026.

Maxine starts the season as a social pariah after a public breakdown and attempts to reclaim her place in Palm Beach society. The returning ensemble includes Laura Dern, Allison Janney, Leslie Bibb, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas, Kaia Gerber, and Carol Burnett.
The weekly schedule is important here: season two is not a complete binge release. Only the first episode is available on premiere day, followed by one episode per week.

November 14: Come See Me in the Good Light
Ryan White directs Come See Me in the Good Light, an intimate documentary about poets Andrea Gibson and Megan Falley as they face Gibson’s incurable cancer diagnosis.
Apple presents the film as an unexpectedly funny and poignant love story. Its focus is not simply illness, but the couple’s partnership: how they sustain humor, affection, and creativity while confronting mortality. That balance gives the film a different tone from a conventional medical documentary or straightforward tragedy.
The documentary premieres globally on Apple TV on Friday, November 14. It received recognition at Sundance and is likely to appeal to viewers looking for a personal, relationship-centered documentary rather than a large-scale factual production.
November 21: The Family Plan 2
Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Monaghan, and Kit Harington lead The Family Plan 2, a holiday-set family action comedy.

The sequel follows Dan as an overseas family vacation is interrupted by a mysterious figure from his past. The combination of family travel, action-comedy complications, and a Christmas setting makes this the most straightforward November choice for viewers who want a feature film rather than a new series.
The Family Plan 2 premieres globally on Friday, November 21. Apple lists the film as PG-13, so “family movie” does not mean that it is aimed at very young children.
November 26: two very different premieres
Apple has scheduled two substantial releases for Wednesday, November 26: the final season of an animated science-fiction adventure and a natural-history series about the Ice Age. They share a release date, but they are aimed at very different viewing moods.
WondLa season 3
The third season of WondLa is the final installment of the animated trilogy based on Tony DiTerlizzi’s bestselling The Search for WondLa books.

Read Tony DiTerlizzi’s The Search for WondLa books if you want to explore the story’s literary origins. The books are a companion recommendation, not a replacement for the animated trilogy, and the adaptation may not follow every element of the novels in exactly the same way.
Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age
Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age moves the franchise beyond the dinosaur era and into the world of later prehistoric megafauna. The five-part natural-history docuseries depicts woolly mammoths, woolly rhinos, saber-toothed cats, dwarf elephants, and snow sloths using current scientific research and photorealistic visual effects.

Series continuing with weekly episodes in November
Several Apple titles were already underway before November. They belong in the month’s viewing calendar, but they are continuing releases rather than November premieres.

What should you watch first?
- For prestige science fiction: Start with Pluribus. Its Gilligan-Seehorn pairing, unusual happiness-centered premise, and two-episode launch make it November’s main event.
- For comedy and social satire: Choose Palm Royale season 2 if you want glossy period high society, or Loot season 3 if you are catching up with an ongoing comedy.
- For a holiday movie: The Family Plan 2 is the obvious feature-length option, though its PG-13 rating is worth checking before a family viewing.
- For families: WondLa season 3 provides the animated adventure, while the connected The Search for WondLa books offer additional reading.
- For documentary spectacle: Watch Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age for photorealistic prehistoric animals and a natural-history format.
- For true-story audio: Choose Adrift if you prefer a reported survival story in podcast form rather than on screen.
- For an intimate documentary: Come See Me in the Good Light centers love, humor, creativity, and an incurable diagnosis.
How to interpret the November 2025 calendar
The month’s schedule is broad rather than dominated by one format. Pluribus is the major scripted premiere, Palm Royale supplies a returning comedy-drama, and The Family Plan 2 provides the accessible holiday film. Because the title of this guide can be read as referring to a future November, one clarification is important: this is the November 2025 Apple TV schedule. Releases announced for 2026 are outside its scope.
