Jason Momoa is no longer reported to be attached to the Helldivers movie: TheWrap reported his exit in June 2026. The latest date reported for the film is June 9, 2028, not November 10, 2027, although an updated Sony announcement confirming the new date was not located in the sources available here.
When does the Helldivers movie come out?
The latest reported theatrical release date is June 9, 2028. PlayStation Universe and GamesRadar+ reported the delay in October 2026, attributing it to a Sony announcement or to Deadline coverage. An updated primary Sony release confirming the change was not located, so June 9, 2028 should be treated as the latest reported date rather than a date verified here against a current Sony schedule.
The earlier date, November 10, 2027, appeared in Sony Group Corporation’s May 2026 FY25.4Q Supplemental Information and remains on the Sony Pictures France film page. Those older listings do not reflect the later reported change.
Is Jason Momoa still starring in the Helldivers movie?
No. TheWrap reported in June 2026 that Momoa had exited the project. The available reporting does not establish why he left, so no reason should be assumed.
