Heather Dubrow and Terry Dubrow have four children: twins Max and Nick, Kat, and Ace. The children grew up partly in view of The Real Housewives of Orange County, but the available public record shows four different lives—and different limits on what can responsibly be reported about each one.

Heather Dubrow and Terry Dubrow have four children: fraternal twins Maximillia “Max” and Nicholas “Nick,” Katarina “Kat,” and Ace. Their family became familiar to The Real Housewives of Orange County audience as the children grew up partly in the public eye, but each has a life and identity beyond the reality show.

Bravo’s July 2026 family overview lists Max and Nick as 22, Kat as 19, and Ace as 15. Those ages are a time-specific snapshot; birthdays and later updates are more reliable than a description that does not include a date.

Heather Dubrow’s children at a glance

Child Birth date What is publicly reported

Nicholas “Nick” Dubrow November 24, 2003 Max’s fraternal twin. In a 2023 interview, he discussed studying business finance and considering entertainment-representation or banking internships.
Katarina “Kat” Dubrow October 5, 2006 Bravo reported that Kat graduated from high school in May 2025, came out to her family at 14, and attends Yale to study film.
Ace Dubrow December 13, 2010 The youngest Dubrow child. Heather publicly described Ace as transgender in March 2023 and emphasized the family’s love and support.

#1 Best Overall

Max came out publicly as bisexual in June 2020. In a 2023 Bravo interview, she discussed growing up with RHOC as part of her family’s public life while also describing interests that extended beyond television and Orange County. She studied psychology at Tufts University, considered law, worked with animals, and spoke about wanting to define herself on her own terms.

Bravo’s July 2026 update reported that Max graduated from Tufts in June 2026. It also said Heather later shared that Max was headed to law school. That wording matters: the available report supports a law-school plan, not independently verified enrollment at a particular school.

Max also spent approximately four and a half months studying abroad in Paris beginning in January 2025. Her public work includes more than reality-TV appearances. Max co-authored I’ll Give It to You Straightish: What Your Teen Wants You to Know with Judy Ho. Published in 2021, the paperback has ISBN-13 9781954854307 and addresses subjects such as sexuality, gender, school pressure, social media, teen stress, and the support young people want from their families.

I’ll Give It to You Straightish is a book by Max Dubrow and Judy Ho—not by Heather—and it should be treated as a teen-and-parent communication resource rather than a substitute for professional counseling or medical advice.

Nick Dubrow

Nicholas “Nick” Dubrow is Max’s fraternal twin. He was also born on November 24, 2003.

In Bravo’s 2023 interview, Nick said he was studying business finance and exploring possible internships in entertainment representation or banking. Those comments provide useful context for where he was at that time, but the currently reviewed sources do not establish his present job, graduation status, or later career milestone with enough confidence to state them as current facts.

Rank #2

Nick has appeared in the family’s RHOC story, but relatively little recent, independently confirmed information about his private life is available. That is a reason to avoid filling the gaps with speculation—not a reason to treat him as less important than his more publicly discussed siblings. No comparable public disclosure establishes Nick’s sexuality or gender identity.

Kat Dubrow

Katarina “Kat” Dubrow was born on October 5, 2006. Bravo reported that she came out to her family at age 14 and discussed that experience in the context of The Real Housewives of Orange County. TheWrap later identified Max as bisexual, Kat as a lesbian, and Ace as transgender in its coverage of the family’s public identity disclosures.

Bravo reported that Kat graduated from high school in May 2025 and attends Yale University to study film. Yale’s official Film at Yale website confirms the university’s film program, but the institutional material reviewed for this article does not independently identify Kat as a student. The college detail is therefore attributed to Bravo rather than presented as a university-confirmed enrollment record.

Kat’s public story includes both her coming-out experience and her creative interests, but she should not be reduced to either. As with all four children, the portions viewers know from television represent only part of her life.

Ace Dubrow

Ace, born December 13, 2010, is Heather and Terry’s youngest child.

In March 2023, Heather publicly described Ace as transgender. Her statement focused on love, pride, safety, and support, while making clear that Ace could tell their own story if and when they chose to do so.

Because Ace was a minor when the disclosure was made and remains young, responsible coverage should stay with those publicly stated facts. There is no basis here to add details about medical care, legal matters, school, transition history, pronouns, or future plans. Bravo also reported that Heather discussed early college-planning conversations involving Ace in 2025; that is a small family-planning detail, not a reason to speculate about a minor’s future.

How the Dubrow children grew up on RHOC

Heather and Terry joined The Real Housewives of Orange County in Season 7, when the twins were children. Bravo interviews describe Max and Nick as growing up with the show as part of their family’s public life. That does not mean cameras documented every part of their childhood: the family has also noted that filming did not take place continuously in the home.

The Dubrow family later took a hiatus from the series and returned during Season 16. The children’s visibility on the program helped make them recognizable to viewers, but the show is best understood as the source of selected, edited glimpses rather than a complete biography of any of them.

For viewers who want to revisit the family’s television appearances, Bravo identifies Peacock as the streaming destination for RHOC episodes after broadcast. Catalog availability, regional access, pricing, and the status of particular seasons can change, so those details should be checked directly before watching.

Where Heather Dubrow’s children are now

  • Max: Bravo reported her June 2026 graduation from Tufts and said Heather later indicated that Max was headed to law school. Max also has a public writing credit and studied abroad in Paris in 2025.
  • Nick: The most solidly documented education and career information in the reviewed material comes from his 2023 discussion of business finance and possible internships. A current job or graduation update has not been established.
  • Kat: Bravo reported her May 2025 high-school graduation and her study of film at Yale. The available Yale material confirms the broader film program, not her individual enrollment.
  • Ace: Ace remains the youngest sibling. Public coverage should be limited to the family’s own statements and should not expand into private or sensitive details.

The family’s public identity disclosures

Max has publicly identified as bisexual, and Bravo and TheWrap have reported Kat’s identity as lesbian and Heather’s description of Ace as transgender. The family’s public framing has emphasized acceptance and support.

Those details are relevant because the children themselves or their parents have discussed them publicly, but they are not the whole story of any sibling. Coverage should not speculate about Nick, and it should not treat identity labels as substitutes for each child’s education, interests, work, personality, or boundaries.

What remains private

Being recognizable from a reality series does not make every personal detail public. Current employment, exact college status, relationships, medical information, school circumstances, and future plans should not be inferred from old interviews, family photos, social posts, or edited television scenes.

The most accurate account is therefore a selective one: Max has the clearest recent education and book updates; Nick’s current public record is limited; Kat’s college and film plans are reported by Bravo; and Ace’s coverage should remain especially restrained because Ace is a minor.
