Hasbro’s “Superior, Astonishing, and Savage” Marvel Legends headline was an April 2024 announcement for figures marking Marvel’s 85th anniversary—not a new 2026 wave. Superior Spider-Man and Astonishing Wolverine were the two highlighted releases, alongside a broader assortment that included standard and deluxe figures, two-packs, and a motorcycle product. Hasbro’s product pages identify the comic inspirations and included accessories for several of the figures.
What the headline refers to
The headline’s adjectives point to two comic-inspired figures: Superior Spider-Man and Astonishing Wolverine. Gizmodo reported Hasbro’s 85th-anniversary assortment on April 15, 2024, with preorders expected to open during the rest of that month. The announcement is best read as a dated look at that assortment, rather than a current launch notice.
The wider lineup spanned multiple Marvel comics and product formats, including standard figures, deluxe figures, two-packs, and a motorcycle product. The available announcement details do not establish a complete item-by-item roster here.
