ABC schedules the episode, numbered 2301 and titled “Collide,” for Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 p.m. EDT on ABC. Official ABC materials published so far do not describe a change to Season 22’s schedule, so the headline’s “new release date” for Season 22 is not supported by the network’s listings.
What ABC’s schedule actually shows
The confusion comes from comparing two different episodes. ABC’s episode archive lists the Season 22 finale, episode 2218, as “Bridge over Troubled Water,” with an air date of May 7, 2026. The October 15 episode belongs to the next season. The two listings compare as follows:

Titles like “Collide” are the most reliable way to find the premiere in a streaming guide, because the season number on some platforms may lag behind the network schedule.
