What Trevi’s filing is—and the case it arose from
Trevi’s filing was a cross-complaint within an existing California case, not a separate criminal prosecution. Two women had filed an action against Trevi and Andrade in December 2022, according to contemporaneous reporting. Trevi filed against Andrade in California Superior Court the following December. El Comercio de Colorado and La Jornada described the filing as a response within that litigation.

The claims made by the two women against Trevi and Andrade are allegations, too. Reporting on the case said Trevi denied the allegations made against her. Neither side’s claims should be treated as established facts merely because they appear in a court filing.
What Trevi alleged
Reports said the cross-complaint contained nine claims. El Comercio de Colorado and La Jornada identified allegations including sexual assault, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligent infliction of emotional distress, and damages. These are claims Trevi made in a civil filing; they are not findings that Andrade committed abuse or is liable.

Trevi said she took legal action to seek justice and accountability. Her representatives said she had remained silent because speaking about the experiences could require her to relive them and because she wanted to protect her family. Those explanations were attributed to Trevi and her representatives in La Jornada’s December 30, 2023 report.
What happened in court
- December 2022: Two women filed an action against Trevi and Andrade, according to the reporting reviewed.
- December 2023: Trevi filed her cross-complaint against Andrade in California Superior Court.
- May 1, 2024: Rolling Stone Canada reported that a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge rejected an effort to strike the cross-complaint as too vague and allowed it to proceed. The report said some ambiguities could be addressed through discovery. This was a ruling on whether the pleading could move forward, not a decision on the truth of its allegations. Has Trevi’s lawsuit been decided?
The available sources do not establish that Trevi’s cross-complaint was won, dismissed, settled, or decided on the merits. A third-party index surfaced a tentative ruling dated August 14, 2026, in the related case, but that material does not establish the final disposition of this particular cross-complaint. A tentative ruling is not, on its own, proof of a final judgment. The case status should therefore be described as unresolved in the sources reviewed.

Why the distinction matters
A complaint states a party’s allegations and requests for relief. A decision allowing claims to proceed past an initial pleading challenge means only that the case may continue at that stage; it does not establish that the alleged conduct occurred. A finding of liability or a final disposition would require a later court outcome, which the reviewed sources do not establish here.
