The nine featured characters in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage are Georgie Cooper, Mandy McAllister, Audrey McAllister, Jim McAllister, Connor McAllister, Ruben Alvarez, Missy Cooper, Mary Cooper, and Meemaw. Here is who plays each character, how they fit into the McAllister and Cooper families, and why this is a featured-character guide rather than a complete list of every speaking role.
The nine featured characters in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage are Georgie Cooper, Mandy McAllister, Audrey McAllister, Jim McAllister, Connor McAllister, Ruben Alvarez, Missy Cooper, Mary Cooper, and Meemaw. Montana Jordan and Emily Osment lead the CBS sequel as Georgie and Mandy, while the other characters connect the couple’s new family life to the McAllister household, Jim’s tire business, and the wider Cooper family from Young Sheldon.
This is a guide to the nine principal and recurring characters covered by the commonly used cast listing. It is not a complete list of every speaking or guest character in the series.
The six central series characters
The launch-period ensemble is built around six regular characters: Georgie, Mandy, Audrey, Jim, Connor, and Ruben. The first four form the main family and household dynamic, while Ruben is part of the tire-shop storyline and Connor adds another distinctive personality to the McAllister home.

1. Georgie Cooper — Montana Jordan
George “Georgie” Cooper Jr. is the title character’s male lead and Mandy’s husband. He is Sheldon Cooper’s older brother and Missy Cooper’s twin brother, although Sheldon himself is not one of the nine characters in this cast guide.
Georgie is trying to become a dependable husband, father, and provider while still figuring out adulthood. He works at Jim McAllister’s tire business, where being Jim’s son-in-law gives him opportunities that Ruben believes he has not fully earned. That family connection makes Georgie’s workplace decisions inseparable from the couple’s home life.
At the beginning of the spinoff, Georgie and Mandy are raising their young daughter while living with Mandy’s family. Montana Jordan reprises Georgie after playing him throughout Young Sheldon.
2. Mandy McAllister — Emily Osment
Mandy McAllister is Georgie’s wife and the mother of their daughter, Constance “CeeCee.” She is older than Georgie and offers the series its other central perspective on marriage, parenting, work, and family pressure.
Mandy is not simply adjusting to being a new mother. She is also negotiating life in a household where her parents have strong opinions, her younger brother is unconventional, and her husband is still establishing himself. Her disagreements with Audrey are a recurring source of tension, particularly when questions about parenting and independence arise.
Emily Osment returns as Mandy, a role she originated in Young Sheldon. CBS describes the sequel as following Georgie and Mandy as they attempt to manage their young family and the responsibilities of adult life.
3. Audrey McAllister — Rachel Bay Jones
Audrey McAllister is Mandy’s mother and Jim’s wife. She is outspoken, especially when she believes Georgie and Mandy are making questionable decisions about their relationship, household, or child.
Audrey’s directness frequently puts her at odds with Mandy. She can be protective and involved, but her involvement also makes it harder for Mandy and Georgie to establish an independent married life. As a result, Audrey is one of the main forces driving conflict inside the McAllister home.

Rachel Bay Jones reprises the role from Young Sheldon and is part of the spinoff’s regular ensemble.
4. Jim McAllister — Will Sasso
Jim McAllister is Mandy’s father, Audrey’s husband, and the owner of the local tire shop where Georgie works. He also employs Ruben, putting him at the center of the show’s workplace stories.

Compared with Audrey, Jim is generally more accepting of Georgie. He often tries to remain neutral when family disagreements escalate, though his position as both Georgie’s father-in-law and employer makes true neutrality difficult. The tire shop gives Georgie a practical path toward supporting his family while creating new arguments about favoritism, authority, and responsibility.
Will Sasso plays Jim, continuing the character from Young Sheldon.
5. Connor McAllister — Dougie Baldwin
Connor is Mandy’s younger brother and lives with the McAllister family. He is eccentric, musically inclined, and socially unusual, making him one of the household’s most unpredictable personalities.
The characters sometimes compare Connor’s oddness with Sheldon’s, but Connor is not a replacement for Sheldon and the series does not include Sheldon as one of these nine featured characters. Connor’s storylines instead give the McAllister family another source of disagreement, embarrassment, affection, and comedy.
Dougie Baldwin plays Connor in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage. He took over the role after Connor was played by Joe Apollonio in Young Sheldon.
6. Ruben Alvarez — Jessie Prez
Ruben Alvarez works at Jim’s tire shop alongside Georgie. His central frustration is that Georgie advances quickly in the business partly because he is Jim’s son-in-law.

Ruben’s skepticism turns Georgie’s efforts to prove himself into a family-and-business problem rather than a straightforward promotion story.
Jessie Prez plays Ruben.
The three returning Cooper-family characters
Missy, Mary, and Meemaw are important returning figures from Young Sheldon, but they should be described as recurring or returning characters rather than part of the six-person launch-period regular ensemble.
7. Missy Cooper — Raegan Revord
Missy Cooper is Georgie’s younger sister and Sheldon’s twin sister. She remains connected to Georgie even as the spinoff shifts its main setting toward Mandy’s family and the couple’s married life.
Missy’s appearances bring the Cooper family’s changing circumstances into the story. Her relationship with Georgie also gives the series a way to explore sibling loyalty and the responsibilities that come with becoming an adult while the rest of the family is still adjusting.

8. Mary Cooper — Zoe Perry
Mary Cooper is Georgie’s mother and the mother of Sheldon and Missy. She remains tied to Georgie and Mandy through family responsibilities and continues to appear in stories about the Cooper family’s changing relationships.
Mary’s presence also keeps the spinoff connected to the emotional and religious dimensions of the Cooper family established in Young Sheldon. Her appearances can involve grief, faith, parenting, and the difficulty of accepting that her children are building lives of their own.
Zoe Perry reprises the role of Mary. CBS materials list her in season-two cast and photo information alongside Georgie, Mandy, Missy, and Meemaw.

9. Meemaw / Constance Tucker — Annie Potts
Meemaw, whose given name is Constance Tucker, is Mary’s mother and Georgie’s grandmother. She is one of the clearest links between Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage and the wider Cooper family established by Young Sheldon.
Meemaw’s appearances connect the older generation to Georgie and Mandy’s young family. Official materials document stories involving Meemaw, Mandy, and CeeCee, adding another perspective on parenting and family life.
Annie Potts returns as Meemaw.

Why Sheldon is not on this nine-character list
Sheldon is central to the larger franchise, but he is not one of the nine featured characters covered here. Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage is focused on Georgie and Mandy’s household, the McAllister family, Georgie’s job, and selected returning Cooper relatives. Sheldon’s importance to Young Sheldon does not make him part of this particular cast grouping.
Why CeeCee is not counted among the nine
Constance “CeeCee” is Georgie and Mandy’s daughter and an important part of the couple’s family story. However, she is not one of the nine named characters in this guide. The nine-name grouping is centered on the adult and older recurring characters whose roles form the show’s principal family and workplace ensemble.
Is this the complete cast?
No. The nine names are a practical featured-character list, not a claim that only nine people speak or appear in the series. The show also includes guest and additional recurring figures, including CeeCee, Pastor Jeff, Fred Fagenbacher, and other episode-specific characters documented in CBS materials.
For cast-list purposes, the most accurate wording is “the nine featured characters” or “the principal and returning characters covered in this guide.” Calling these nine the complete cast would overstate what the list represents.

Series and viewing context
Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage is a CBS comedy sequel to Young Sheldon. The series follows Georgie and Mandy as they raise their young daughter while dealing with marriage, employment, parenting, and extended-family tensions in Texas.
CBS identifies Paramount+ as an official U.S. streaming destination, but streaming catalogs and regional availability can change. Check the current Paramount+ listing for your country before subscribing or planning a viewing schedule.
For viewers who prefer physical media, the complete first-season DVD contains all 22 episodes from season one and was released in the United States on October 7, 2025. It is the most direct home-media option for this series; related Young Sheldon DVD sets are better treated as companion franchise viewing rather than replacements for the spinoff.
How the cast structure changes after the launch
The six-person core ensemble—Montana Jordan, Emily Osment, Rachel Bay Jones, Will Sasso, Dougie Baldwin, and Jessie Prez—establishes the show’s regular domestic and workplace framework. Missy, Mary, and Meemaw broaden that framework when they return for Cooper-family stories.
That distinction matters when reading episode guides or later promotional material. A returning character may be highly significant in a particular episode without being a series regular. The nine-character list therefore combines the six central regulars with three recurring Young Sheldon characters because all nine are important to understanding the series’ family connections.
Series-status note: CBS lists the show as a 2024 comedy and provides second-season material through episode 22, “A New Beau and Someone Else’s Mom’s House,” dated May 21, 2026. The cast information above reflects the available series material treated in this guide as of August 12, 2026. Episode availability, cast billing, and home-media information should be rechecked before republication.
