FuboTV Connect is the code-based way to sign in to the Fubo app on many supported TVs and streaming devices. Open the app on your TV to generate a temporary code, then visit fubo.tv/connect on a phone or computer and enter it. Connect is an account-linking step—not a separate service, subscription, or way around device, plan, location, or blackout restrictions.
What FuboTV Connect does—and what it does not
Fubo is a subscription live-TV streaming service; the Fubo app is the software you install on a television or connected device; and Connect is the browser-based sign-in flow that links that app to your Fubo account. The TV app generates the activation code. The code identifies the device for sign-in, and Fubo says codes refresh about every five minutes. Follow the instructions in Fubo’s connected-device sign-in and signup guide.
- Connect does not create a separate account or provide a subscription.
- It does not install the app or make unsupported hardware compatible.
- Signing in does not bypass a plan requirement, regional restriction, or sports blackout.
Use the official Fubo domain: check that the address starts with https://www.fubo.tv/. A third-party activation site is not needed to link your TV.
What you need before connecting
- A device that appears on Fubo’s current supported-device list; model, operating-system, certification, and country requirements may apply.
- A working internet connection and the latest Fubo app available for the device.
- An active Fubo account, or an offer for which you are eligible, plus access to its sign-in email and password.
- A phone, tablet, or computer with internet access for entering the code.
- A code currently displayed by the Fubo app on the TV.
“Smart TV” alone does not establish compatibility. Fubo’s US support list includes selected Fire TV, Android TV/Google TV, Apple TV, Roku, Xbox, Hisense VIDAA, LG, Samsung, and Vizio devices, as well as supported mobile devices, browsers, and Chromecast/Google Cast options. Check the exact model and current requirements before relying on a built-in app. For example, the support page specifies Android 7.0 or later and Play Protect certification for supported Android devices, and iPhone 8s or newer with iOS/iPadOS 16.5 or later for the Apple mobile devices it lists; requirements can change. Availability may differ outside the US.

How to activate Fubo on a TV or streaming device
- Open the device’s app store or channel store, search for Fubo, and install the official app. On a Samsung Smart TV, Fubo’s documented route is Home > Apps, select the search icon, search for Fubo, choose the official app, and select Install. See Fubo’s Samsung TV instructions.
- Launch Fubo, choose Sign In, then choose Sign in with a code if that option appears. Leave the code screen open.
- On a separate internet-connected device, open the official Fubo Connect page. Sign in to the Fubo account if prompted.
- Enter the code exactly as it appears on the TV and submit it. If the code changes before you finish, use the new one.
- Wait for the TV app to authenticate. When it returns to the app, open Home or Guide and try a channel included with your plan.
The interface and sign-in choices vary by platform: some devices may offer email-and-password entry, an Apple-device option, a QR code, or a web address instead of the same code screen. Fubo documents code and email options for applicable connected devices in its connected-device interface guide.
If you are signing up for the first time
Signing up is different from signing in. On many connected devices, selecting Sign Up displays a QR code or web address so you can create an account on a phone, tablet, or computer; you may then need to complete the TV’s activation step. Fubo says Roku signup follows a different path, so follow the prompts shown in the Roku app rather than assuming the same flow applies. Its signup instructions describe the platform distinction.
If code sign-in is unavailable
Return to the app’s Sign In screen and select Sign in with email if offered. Enter the email and password for the Fubo account. If you have forgotten the password, use Fubo’s account-recovery route rather than repeatedly submitting a code.
What to expect after sign-in
Fubo’s connected-device interface has navigation for browsing and playback, but its appearance and features are not identical on every platform. The Guide shows live and upcoming programming, and you can scroll through channels and later listings. Home surfaces programming and access to content; Search can help locate channels, programs, teams, or events. Watchlist, recordings, and other options depend on the device and account.

Live and on-demand availability depends on the subscription, location, and content rights. Account and billing changes are often easier to handle on Fubo’s website than with a TV remote. A successful device sign-in confirms account access; it does not guarantee that every listed program is available to stream from your location.
Compatible devices: check the model, not just the brand

This is a category overview, not a guarantee for every model. Fubo’s compatibility list is the place to check specific models and current software requirements. Fubo notes limitations involving AirPlay on Vizio SmartCast 3.0 TVs; an unsupported Vizio model may still have a compatible casting option, but casting is not assured for every setup.
Plans, pricing, and trials: verify the offer at checkout
Connect itself is not a plan. Fubo subscriptions and offers are US-market and time-sensitive: its pages can show campaign-specific promotional rates, regular renewal rates, different channel counts, and different trial eligibility. During 2026, Fubo’s pages displayed examples such as Sports + News at about $55.99 per month regular price with a first-month promotion around $45.99; Pro at about $84.99 regular and a first month around $54.99; Elite at about $94.99 regular and a first month around $64.99; Deluxe at about $114.99 regular and a first month around $84.99; and Latino at about $14.99 regular with a promotional price around $9.99. These are observed offer examples, not guaranteed current prices or a complete list. Check Fubo’s plan page and the final checkout screen for the offer available to your account, renewal amount, channel lineup, taxes, fees, and regional charges.
- Fubo’s listed plans include cloud DVR, and its pages show recordings expiring after nine months; check the terms of the plan you select.
- Selected plans include 4K, but only eligible programming, compatible hardware, and suitable connections can deliver it; not all content is 4K.
- Local ABC, CBS, and FOX availability depends on market and plan. Regional NBA, NHL, and MLB coverage depends on local rights and location.
- Fubo’s plan pages have advertised up to 10 simultaneous screens for several plans, while some add-ons have different limits—for example, the listed DAZN add-on shows up to two screens. Those are product-specific allowances, not unlimited household sharing; check current plan and content rules.
- ESPN Unlimited is included with certain plans, but Fubo notes that an existing ESPN Unlimited subscription may continue to be managed separately. Some bundled services may require their own apps.
Trial availability and duration vary by plan and offer and may change. A trial may require a payment method and can renew automatically when it ends; a “$0 today” offer is not a promise of a permanently free subscription. Review the end date, renewal price, eligibility, and cancellation terms before starting. Fubo’s trial page says availability can vary and that users can cancel.

Is Fubo a good fit for your household?
Fubo may suit you if
- Live sports are a priority and the channels or teams you watch are available in your market.
- You want a single live-TV service for sports, news, entertainment, and cloud DVR.
- Your household’s devices are supported and the relevant simultaneous-stream rules fit your use.
- You have verified the regular renewal cost against the channels you actually need.
Look elsewhere if
- You mainly want scripted on-demand series rather than live channels.
- A required channel or local team is missing from your plan, or a blackout applies where you live.
- You need dependable multi-location TV streaming, own an older unsupported television, or expect every event and every program to be in 4K.
- Your priority is the lowest ongoing monthly bill after an introductory offer ends.
Check these details before choosing
- Enter your ZIP code and confirm local-channel and regional-sports availability.
- Match the teams, leagues, and national networks you watch to the plan’s actual lineup.
- Check whether a regional sports fee applies and whether an add-on costs extra.
- Compare the renewal price—not only the promotional price—and account for taxes and fees.
- Confirm the trial’s duration, renewal date, and cancellation deadline if an offer includes one.
- Check screen limits, DVR terms, device compatibility, and whether any bundled service uses a separate app.
Fix common Fubo Connect and playback problems

Alternatives if Fubo’s lineup or cost is not right
Compare services against the channels, local rights, device access, and ongoing price your household needs; no service is a universal substitute for another.
- Hulu + Live TV: Worth comparing if a household values Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN-related content alongside live channels; some content is accessed through separate apps. Fubo’s sports comparison page listed Hulu + Live TV at $89.99 per month after a possible three-day trial, subject to eligibility and terms; verify current pricing and offer details with Hulu.
- YouTube TV: Consider it as a general-purpose live-TV option, then verify current pricing, channels, and regional sports requirements at YouTube TV.
- DIRECTV STREAM: Compare its package and regional-sports availability if you prefer a traditional pay-TV-style lineup; check current terms at DIRECTV STREAM.
- Sling TV: A potential fit for viewers who want a smaller, customizable package; check whether its local channels and sports meet your needs at Sling.
- Philo: Consider it for entertainment-focused viewing when extensive live sports and local broadcast coverage are not priorities; review the current lineup at Philo.
Bottom line
Use the TV app to generate a code, enter it only through Fubo’s official Connect page, and verify that the device, account, plan, and location all support the programming you want. The activation step is straightforward; the more consequential checks are your channel lineup, blackout exposure, household stream needs, and post-promotion bill.
