Floyd Roger Myers’ Fresh Prince of Bel-Air role

Myers appeared as Young Will in “Will Gets Committed,” a third-season episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air that aired in 1992. The episode uses a younger version of Will Smith’s character as part of its story; Myers was a guest performer in the episode, not a regular member of the sitcom’s cast.

#1 Best Overall

For viewers who want to revisit the series, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air complete series DVD is a physical-media option. The set is a way to watch the sitcom in full, but there is no indication that it includes a Floyd Myers-specific feature or commentary.

He also played young Marlon Jackson

Later in 1992, Myers portrayed Marlon Jackson, ages 7–9, in The Jacksons: An American Dream. The ABC television miniseries dramatized the history of the Jackson family and featured Myers in the role of the future Jackson 5 and Jacksons performer during his childhood years.

A complete-miniseries DVD has also been documented for The Jacksons: An American Dream, although physical-media inventory, sellers and regional availability can change. Viewers should check current listings before buying.

A short but recognizable screen career

Myers’s two best-known credits came in the same year. His appearance as Young Will connected him to one of the most recognizable sitcoms of the 1990s, while his performance as young Marlon Jackson placed him in a high-profile television biography. The available credits support describing him as a former child actor with those notable 1992 television roles, rather than as a long-running cast member or major series star.

Where to watch the two titles

Availability for both programs depends on territory, licensing agreements and the date of the search. Viewers looking for where to watch The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air should check current U.S. streaming and digital-purchase listings for the specific episode or series. Likewise, listings for where to watch The Jacksons: An American Dream may include streaming, digital purchase or physical-media options, depending on location.

Reported date and cause

Most of the available reports identify October 29, 2025, as Myers’s date of death. One report used October 22, 2025, while otherwise describing the same family-sourced account. Because TMZ, NME, Parade and other coverage used October 29, that is the better-supported date in the reporting reviewed for this article.

The heart-attack account should remain attributed to Myers’s mother. It should not be presented as an officially confirmed medical conclusion unless a later medical examiner, coroner or other primary record establishes it.
