Epic Games announced Fortnite’s Fantastic Four outfits for July 25, 2025, at 8 PM ET, with an earlier unlock opportunity through the Fantastic Four Cup on July 23. Both dates have passed. The announcement does not establish whether the outfits are in the Item Shop now, so check Fortnite’s live Shop for current availability and pricing.
When did the Fantastic Four skins arrive in Fortnite?
Epic announced the crossover on July 21, 2025, and said the outfits would land in the in-game Shop on July 25 at 8 PM ET. The Fantastic Four Cup, which offered eligible top squads an early unlock route, was scheduled for July 23. These are historical dates, not upcoming sale or tournament times. Epic’s announcement does not confirm current inventory or prices; consult the live Fortnite Shop before deciding whether you can buy them.
Which Fantastic Four characters and cosmetics were announced?
The four outfits represent Johnny Storm as Human Torch, Ben Grimm as The Thing, Reed Richards as Mister Fantastic, and Susan Storm as Invisible Woman. Epic described the following associated cosmetics and features:
- Human Torch: built-in “Flame On!” emote, an alternate style, and Torch’s Flame Pickaxe.
- The Thing: an alternate style.
- Mister Fantastic: Fantastic Fists Pickaxe and Fantastic Calculations emote.
- Invisible Woman: built-in Psionic Orbs Pickaxe.
Epic said Torch’s Flame, Fantastic Fists, and Invisible Woman’s Psionic Orbs pickaxes were universal, meaning they could be used beyond the corresponding outfit. The announcement situated the characters in the Fortnite Shop but did not establish current pricing or whether each item is available separately.

Epic’s event announcement assigned 62 points for a Victory Royale, 52 for second place, and one point per elimination. Those figures describe this particular Cup’s scoring system, not general Fortnite scoring rules.
What can be confirmed about the crossover’s timing?
The Fortnite announcement coincided with the planned July 25, 2025 release of Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Marvel’s official movie-page search result described the film as 1960s-inspired and retro-futuristic and identified the same four characters. The page itself was not accessible, so further movie details are not established here. Marvel’s film page is the relevant official listing.

Not directly. Epic says a Fortnite gift card adds funds to an Epic Games account balance, which can be used for V-Bucks and Fortnite packs; it does not itself grant a specific outfit. Epic’s support page also says Fortnite gift cards are replacing V-Bucks cards, although older V-Bucks cards may still be available in stores. Check the card’s regional and account terms before redeeming it. Epic’s gift-card support page explains the balance and card distinction.
