Epic announced both for the Item Shop, but those announcements describe past releases—not what is in the shop today. Because the shop rotates, check Fortnite’s live Item Shop for current availability and prices; Epic has not announced a future return date for either outfit.
Which KAWS outfits are in Fortnite?
Epic’s official announcements identify two outfits: KAWSPEELY, a Peely-and-KAWS mashup, and KAWS Skeleton, a skeleton design with four color styles. Their announced Item Shop appearances were in 2021 and 2022; those dates do not establish that either outfit is currently available.
| Outfit | What it looks like | Styles and associated cosmetics | Availability information |
|---|---|---|---|
| KAWSPEELY | Peely reimagined with KAWS styling. | The outfit came with the KAWS COMPANION Back Bling, including GREY DAYS and NOIR NIGHTS styles alongside its default style. FAR FROM HOME is a KAWS COMPANION-themed Glider, and RIPE ON TIME is a Wrap. | Epic announced it for the Item Shop beginning July 2, 2022, at 8 PM ET. That is a historical release time, not a current listing. Epic’s KAWSPEELY announcement. |
| KAWS Skeleton | A KAWS-styled skeleton outfit. | Orange, green, pink, and bone-color styles. | Epic introduced it in its 2021 Fortnitemares announcement and said it would return to the Item Shop alongside KAWSPEELY in 2022. Neither announcement establishes current stock. Epic’s 2021 Fortnitemares announcement; Epic’s 2022 announcement. |
How to get KAWS skins in Fortnite
- Open Fortnite and go to the Item Shop.
- Look for KAWSPEELY or KAWS Skeleton in the live listings. If an outfit is listed, review its displayed price and purchase options there before buying.
- If neither appears, check the shop again later. Epic says Item Shop items rotate, but does not promise when a particular outfit will return. Fortnite Item Shop and Epic’s Item Shop rotation guidance.
Epic also says Support cannot grant items that are not currently in the shop. The official announcements and shop guidance do not establish either outfit’s current price or availability as of October 8, 2026.
Which one should you choose?
Choose based on the design and cosmetics you want: KAWSPEELY pairs Peely’s look with KAWS styling and came with the KAWS COMPANION Back Bling, while KAWS Skeleton offers a skeleton design with four listed color styles. FAR FROM HOME and RIPE ON TIME are associated KAWSPEELY-era cosmetics; the announcement describes them as a Glider and Wrap, respectively. Check the live shop listing for what is offered now rather than assuming a historical bundle or price is still available.
