During Fortnite’s Winterfest 2024, Mariah Carey was on a snowy mountain southeast of Brutal Boxcars. Players could dance with her to receive a Holiday Present. That encounter was limited to the event, which ended January 7, 2025, at 9 AM ET, so these directions describe her historical location—not a confirmed current NPC spawn.
Where Mariah Carey was during Winterfest 2024
Use Brutal Boxcars as your landmark and travel southeast to the snowy mountain. A December 22, 2024, location guide placed Mariah among decorated trees and gifts there. It did not identify the area as a named point of interest, so there is no more specific POI name to follow. Gameranx’s historical location guide provides the landmark directions.
Epic’s Winterfest 2024 announcement confirms Mariah was on the Island after being freed from an ice block, but does not give the mountain’s precise location.
What players could do when they found her
Players could dance or emote with Mariah to receive a Holiday Present, a throwable gameplay item that reveals loot. Epic confirmed the interaction and reward in its event announcement: “Speaking of the queen of Winterfest, dance with Mariah on the Island and she’ll reward you with a Holiday Present!”

A January 2025 Game8 guide says to use the “All I Want For Christmas Is You” emote for the interaction. That specific emote detail comes from the secondary guide, rather than Epic’s event announcement. Game8’s Mariah Carey guide describes the emote interaction.
Is Mariah Carey still at that location?
Winterfest 2024 ended January 7, 2025, at 9 AM ET. The encounter was event content, and the historical directions do not establish that Mariah currently spawns on that mountain. Epic’s event announcement gives the end time.

During the event, Epic also offered the Mariah Carey Outfit and the “All I Want For Christmas Is You” Jam Track in the Shop. The announcement does not establish whether either item is available now; check the live Fortnite Shop for current availability. Jam Tracks are digital items used across Fortnite experiences, including Main Stage, Jam Stage, Battle Royale, and the Lobby, as described in Epic’s Fortnite Festival FAQ.
