Time+Tide’s Zach Blass names examples associated with ten cast members, from Jason Momoa’s rose-gold Cartier Tank to Jason Statham’s Rolex and Patek Philippe watches. The identifications are the article’s reports, not official brand confirmations or costume-department records.
What the roundup does—and does not—identify
Published on 29 May 2023, Zach Blass’s Time+Tide roundup describes watches cast members wear off-screen. A premiere or press-junket appearance is an event sighting, not evidence that the same watch appears in the film.
Universal’s official Fast X page identifies the movie as the tenth installment in the Fast & Furious Saga and lists its cast. It does not provide a screen-used watch inventory. The watches below should therefore be read as examples reported in the roundup, not as a definitive guide to the characters’ watches.
Watches reported for the cast
Vin Diesel
Blass says Diesel does not appear to wear a watch regularly, recalling a comparison with a Cartier Tank Française. Blass’s observation is not proof of Diesel’s habits: he wrote, “After a fair bit of digging, it would seem Vin Diesel is not particularly one to strap a watch to his wrist.”

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
The roundup discusses earlier sightings, including an IWC Portugieser Annual Calendar, a frosted-gold Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph with a purple dial, and a historical affinity for Panerai. Johnson is not among the principal cast members listed on Universal’s Fast X film page, so this is a broader franchise- or cast-adjacent inclusion, not a claim that he appears in the film.
Charlize Theron
Blass identifies Theron as a Breitling ambassador and cites a Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea sighting. The roundup does not establish that either watch was worn in the film.

How to read these identifications
The roundup brings together examples with different contexts: general off-screen sightings, a premiere appearance, and a press-junket appearance. Those categories are not interchangeable. The model names and references are the author’s identifications; the article is not an official confirmation by a watchmaker, the actors, or the film’s costume department.
- For a specific reference, compare the pictured watch with reliable model documentation before treating the identification as certain.
- Do not infer that an actor owned a particular watch solely from a sighting, or that a reported personal watch was worn by their character.
- For screen-used watches, seek evidence tied to the film itself. The Time+Tide article points readers interested in film appearances toward Watch-ID, but a sighting still needs to be assessed on its own evidence.
Universal lists Fast X on home video in 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD through its home-video page. Viewing the film can help locate a visible watch, but a frame alone may not establish its exact make or reference.
