The March 27, 2025 Nintendo Direct focused on games coming to Nintendo Switch and included no Nintendo Switch 2 updates. Nintendo presented new entries in major series, remasters, partner games, two platform announcements and release windows ranging from that day to 2026. The dates below reflect what Nintendo announced at the time; release timing and availability may differ by region or have changed since.

What stood out in the lineup
The showcase mixed returning Nintendo-associated franchises with games from publishing and development partners. Among its most prominent series returns were Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Rhythm Heaven Groove and Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream. It also ranged across role-playing games, platformers, rhythm games, simulation and co-op action, rather than centering on one genre.
Two announcements concerned services or system features rather than games: Virtual Game Cards addressed digital game management and lending, while Nintendo Today! was a mobile app for daily Nintendo content. The Direct therefore combined a release slate with updates to how players could manage or follow Nintendo content.
