The first look at Everybody Loves Raymond: 30th Anniversary Reunion showed the sitcom’s cast back in the Barone living room for a hosted retrospective—not a new episode or reboot. Ray Romano and series creator Phil Rosenthal led a look back at the comedy, with a tribute to Doris Roberts and Peter Boyle, who played Marie and Frank Barone.
What the first look revealed
Variety’s November 20, 2025, first-look report placed the reunion in the familiar Barone living room. Romano, who played Ray Barone, and Rosenthal, the series creator, hosted the retrospective. The announced participants included Brad Garrett, Patricia Heaton, Monica Horan, Madylin Sweeten and Sullivan Sweeten. Variety’s first-look report described a tribute to Roberts and Boyle, whose performances as Ray’s parents helped define the family sitcom.
CBS framed the program as a gathering of cast, crew and special guests sharing how the comedy came together and connected with audiences over its nine seasons. That format makes the reunion a behind-the-scenes retrospective and cast reunion, rather than a continuation of the Barones’ story. CBS’s official program page

Why the 30th anniversary mattered
