Those references do not establish a complete car collection or confirm what she owns today.
What cars have been linked to Emma Watson?
The available accounts differ in what they can establish: Watson named a Prius in a first-person interview in 2009, while a 2025 news report referred to a blue Audi in connection with a February 2024 incident. The Audi’s model was not identified in that report.
| Vehicle reference | Source and date | What it establishes | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|---|
| Toyota Prius | Watson’s 2009 Interview Magazine conversation, in a transcript mirrored by Emma Watson Updates | Watson said she bought herself a Prius and discussed its practical and environmental appeal. | Whether she still owns it, or whether it is part of a larger present-day collection. |
| Blue Audi | Los Angeles Times report, July 16, 2025, about a February 2024 towing incident | The report associated a blue Audi with the incident involving Watson. | The exact Audi model, a complete ownership record, or whether she owns it now. |
What did Emma Watson say about her Prius?
In the 2009 conversation, Watson said, “I got myself a car,” and identified it as a Prius. She described it as “good for the environment” and said, “It’s sensible and boring – like me.” These remarks document what she said about that car at the time; they are not evidence of her current vehicle ownership.
The interviewer—not Watson—made the quip, “Hermione Granger drives a Prius.” It should not be mistaken for Watson’s own description of the car or her character.

What is known about the reported Audi and driving ban?
The Los Angeles Times reported on July 16, 2025, that Watson received a six-month driving ban after multiple speeding tickets. Its account also referenced a blue Audi involved in a towing incident in February 2024. The report does not identify the Audi’s model or provide a complete account of her vehicle ownership.
The ban is a reported legal outcome from 2025. It does not establish that a ban was still in force in October 2026.

Is there a verified list of Emma Watson’s car collection?
No verified, up-to-date inventory or collection count is established by these accounts. The Prius is supported by Watson’s own historical interview; the Audi reference comes from later incident reporting. Neither source shows that these are the only cars she has owned, confirms that she owns either vehicle now, or supports a definitive “garage” list.
Other details should not be treated as proof of ownership. For example, a 2017 British Vogue article discussed Watson’s privacy strategies and described a vehicle with dark windows in its scene-setting; that description alone does not establish that the vehicle belonged to her. A 2021 South China Morning Post account repeats the Prius story but does not supply a current inventory.
